โ โ โ โ โ No.9 used to be our restaurant to go whenever we visited Vancouver years ago. Recent visit was a total disappointment. We ordered a few signiture hongkong dishes. The noodle was saturated with stronge soda smell. The beef organs were over cooked and not taste clean as it should be in hongkong. The cold dish was not fresh and over priced. The tang jai congee missed beef and fried noodle according to the authentic recipe. Cash only was sort of tradition for chinese restaurants here, definitely outdated!

Foods quality and portion are not met their price. Nothing fancy but ordinary good Chinese foods.
Cash only and they donโt bring your change back, server takes tips without your consent. My bill was $22 and I paid with $20 and $10 bills total $30 at lunchtime and they didnโt bring change back. Never come back here.

โ โ โ โ โ Haven't been here in a number of years. Still a very solid choice for quick Cantonese style dishes. Their menu continues to have a lot of variety. Food came out quickly and was of good quality. Can't really beat this place if you're looking for a 24hr Chinese restaurant.

โ โ โ โ โ Always the favorite of many people. Tastes good and very big portions. Feels like eating in Hong Kong with the settings and the people talking in Cantonese. They open 24 hours!

โ โ โ โ โ I visit the Vancouver area about once a year and always make an effort to come to No. 9. Iโve never been disappointed. What the waitresses lack in charisma is made up with the delicious food that is always served quickly.

โ โ โ โ โ You will be spoilt for choices here! They have easily more than 100 dishes to choose from. The noodle dish was delicious though I wish the noodle could be a little bit more springy. The star here is the roast duck. It was so flavourful and the spice really penetrated deeply into the meat. Price was a high, but expected for a 24h restaurant.

โ โ โ โ โ No.9 Restaurant is a 24/7 great place to enjoy Chinese cuisine especially in late evening. Lunch and late afternoon are busy time, waiting to be seated. The amazing food is served fast. We had yang chow fried rice, sweet@sour pork, lemon chicken with a yummy lemon dip. The price is worth the food quality and big portions. Service is efficient. We enjoyed the food and will recommend this place.

โ โ โ โ โ Great experience with a last minute and late takeout order. Food was delicious and affordable. Love how they are open 24/7. This being said, there is obviously a small trade off with the quality of food and customer service but it was minimal. This needs to be understood when a place is pumping out over 800 different items of food literally 24 hours a day. Our food was hot and not too oily and had generous portions. Would recommend.
