★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty decent selection for a Gulf Island grocery store. Of course I'd love to see even more selection as I am an avid cook. Doing a great job managing the COVID scene and staff are maintaining a friendly demeanor, which is amazing. Thanks Nesters!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice store, nice selection and very nice staff. I go there about twice a week. I see new items on the shelves often. It's a small big store with a deli and ready to go hot and cold foods, flowers and plants, lotto, coffee to go, water dispenser.

We are all doing our bit to recycle and yet, right at the heart of our community Nesters continues to package our groceries in vast quantities of bullet proof plastic. Wake up! It's 2022 for goodness sake! We all know better than this! It's poison, we don't need it, the fish don't need it, please get it off the grocery shelves.

They took out all the actual local food and put in mass market big corporations. they refuse to pay a living wage and are suffering huge staff shortages, making it an unpleasant experience to shop there. essentially holding the island hostage with their prices - it's cheaper to make the ferry trip to nanaimo than shop here. pay your staff better, nix your big-market sales ideologies, and serve the community instead of helping to fragment it.
