★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is mostly good, the only thing wrong with it is there's never enough checkouts that are open. There's usually like 1 or 2 checkouts that are open yet they have a whole row of checkouts. They have a better selection of some items that super markets don't have.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just moving to the Island, out of the 3 stores I have shopped at, this store had the best looking and priced produce section. Store is neat and tidy and thr staff was friendly and helpful. Good in house bakery and Deli sections.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always a fantastic selection of fruits and vegetables. All the departments within the store are always well stocked with fresh items. The cashiers and the entire staff that I have encountered have always greeted me, or answered my questions quickly and with professionalism.
Worth the extra driving distance.

Not the best for checkouts open, but that's prob a Covid thing right now.
Sadly, this store has had incorrectly labelled specials the last few times I've been. I've had the same issue at Save On Brooks Landing, so no better or worse than the competition.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent customer service. The gentlemen at the deli said that he would be with me in a moment as soon as I went up to the counter. His service was speedy and courteous. It's refreshing to find great customer service. Country Grocer is one of my favorite grocery stores in the city. Their selection of products is outstanding and their service is top notch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always a welcoming experience. Grocery staff are helpful and positive. Counter staff are attentive and quick. Store has a quirky and unique design and often carry some very cool (and inexpensive) food items. Competitively priced and gives you the a "locally owned" grocery store feel

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ this Country Grocer and the one in Chase River have a great plant selection outside as you enter and exit the store. Lots of choices here for the garden section with plants, garden accessories, and is well looked after. I really enjoy shopping at Country Grocer and is my favorite grocery store. It was the sliced bread that I just kept coming back for as it was the best ever for myself. Now this is a great grocery store there to please the customers. I like the customer service, see deals here all the time with items I like and buy. A wonderful Vancouver Island grocery store. Look out for the Hot Dog sales out on the BBQ!!
