Very unprofessional and unreliable service. Got the same excuse of being next on the list for 48 hrs. They had us wating with no hot water, and kept us waiting with the rescheduled time over and over. If your that busy on one call at least tell us so we can get someone else. Also dont go word for word for your excuse everytime. The "he's in your area finishing and is just a little behind we will call you asap" gets old after hearing it after hours on end. NO TIME CONSIDERATION FOR CLIENTS. Complete Fail.

I had Need a Plumber Canada out to do some work for me and I was very pleased. I talked to my sister and she needed some one to fix her tub taps. She said her land lord told her to get it fixed and they would pay for it. I called the plumber and talked to the girl an she put us in for that day,which was Saturday, which was great and she said that it was the same price any day. The guy showed up and removed the old tap and put in a new Moen tap. He also removed the hair out of her drain as well. Very nice job and cleaned up his mess as well. One note is I did not know that you could get a plumber on the weekend without paying overtime. Cool

I had the worst service with this company. Iran into an issue with my plumbing on Saturday afternoon. I called them and they told me someone would be there between 530 and 730. At 730 the guy called said he was running late and he would be there shortly.9pmcame still nothing. I called the number and the lady said they would have to reschedule for Sunday morning 8am sharp. 9amcomes nobody still has arrived. I called back and she said her tech was called out for an emergency. I told her to cancel and I tried to explain. She would listen to me just blurted out have a nice day and hunfmg up the phone. Terrible Terrible service! I called Gentleman Plumbers right after and they were at my house at said time and service was terrific!

DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!EVER! I am writing this on behalf of my diabled senior citizen mother who lives in Calgary. She is 78 years old. She is confined to the main floor of her house due to a hip replacement. She has needed to use a walker previous to her hip replacement. I am a red seal journeyman HVAC service technician of nearly 20 years. I do not live in Calgary. On October 18, 2018 she called Need a Plumber for a specific task to be completed. The pilot flame, on her hot water tank, was going out intermittently. I explained exactly what I wanted completed to her. I wanted the service technician to inspect the gas valve and pilot assembly to see if the thermocouple was faulty or if it was the gas valve that was the issue. The technician Branden DID NOT do this. What he did, in my professional opinion, is nothing short of criminal. Branden went downstairs, where my disabled senior citizen mother is unable to go, to look at the hot water heater. It is a basic gravity vented 50 gallon tank. The most basic of all hot water heaters. He did not look at the gas valve or the pilot/burner assembly. What he did was valve off the water supply, drain the hot water tank and remove the gas supply piping to the heater. He went back upstairs to inform my disabled senior citizen mother that she needed a new hot water tank due to an unproven leak. Of course, this was an easy scam for him due to my disabled senior citizen mother being unable to walk up or down stairs. Branden informed her that he could complete the removal and replacement right away. My disabled senior citizen mother told him that she did not want to go ahead with a replacement. Branden then wrote up a work order including a $36.25 dispatch fee, which she was aware of. He also charged her for a complete inspection and service of her hot water heater. This company works off of a flat rate system. They find a code in their rate book and charge accordingly to the work performed. The code he used on his work order was for $400 dollars. HE WAS THERE FOR 45 MINUTES! This includes his "work performed" writing up his work order and arguing with my disabled senior citizen mother, who was obviously extremely upset when presented with her bill. I have been trying to talk to someone at this company regarding this service call. I have been leaving messages for nearly a month now for Richard, who is the working manager. This company does not have an office manager that I am able to talk to. The reception will not provide me with another avenue to discuss this issue with someone else within the company. Richard did call me back once and stated that he hadn't seen the work order yet and that maybe Branden had wrote down a commercial code by mistake. That is nothing but an excuse for his negligence and dishonesty. Richard said he would call me back after he saw the work order. It has been 12 days since that conversation. I have yet to talk to him after multiple messages left with reception who, by the way, stated to me today that she doesn't remember even talking to me previously. I sent a journeyman plumber, that I trusted, over to my disabled senior citizen mother's house for his opinion. He was also appalled at the service my disabled senior citizen mother had received. The tank was merely prepped for removal. Water drained and gas supply piping disconnected. There was no sign of a leak. No water stains, no rust. He said it was nothing short of taking advantage of her and ripping her off. He reassembled the piping for her and turned the water back on and lit the pilot flame. She has had hot water since then. The facts are Branden DID NOT do as requested, OVERCHARGED her for what she did not want done, and left her with NO HOT WATER. As a service technician I CANNOT FATHOM leaving a disabled senior citizen without hot water and blindly ripping her off. The service I have received by the office and field staff is unacceptable. Completely unprofessional! The way they present themselves on their website is false. The owner should call me if they read this or care.
