The family had woke up to find the house at 14C (mid November in Red Deer) so waiting for me to get back was not an option. I reached out to a few contacts who both suggested that I give Tech Heating a call. It was Patrick who took my call well after normal business hours and after explaining our situation, Patrick made his way out to our house to see if he could get the furnace working again. The diagnosis was a failed board. As he didn't have the part on hand he lit the pilot light on our fireplace ( which I neglected to do before I left) and placed a few of his own portable heaters in our house so that the family would have a warm house at night.
He replaced the board ASAP and made sure that all was good. Patrick went far above and beyond what is typically good customer service and at a very fair price. I would give Tech Heating 10/10 stars without hesitation.
