★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For the moment the National Bank direct Brokerage is super slow it takes about 20 seconds just to CFO( change an order) from the time you send the change to the time it is executed. 20 seconds in the market can miss the trade for you. So my advice is to stay away from them and do you due diligence when you open an discount broker account

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lot of technical issues, customer service not willing to give free trades to clients experiencing problems because 'if they give it to me well they have to give it to everyone else'.. I recommend Questrade instead because the moment there is a problem, they offer you 5-10 free trades because they actually treat you as a valued customer. Would not recommend.
