At NATEFIT we believe everyone should have the tools to proper maintain their bodies as well as move pain free for their entire lives. The gym is a place to prepare for what’s outside, a place to gain physical freedom. Our focus is to educate our clients throughout the process of achieving their goals, giving them the tools to succeed.

Each nutrition plan involves Precision Nutrition methodology, which focuses on the micro and macronutrients that the body needs to function optimally, by obtaining them through whole food sources for maximum absorption. These methods are used to accomplish any goal from health maintenance to recovery, and weight loss. Everyone is different, and therefore each program is individually customized to ensure that everyone is successful in accomplishing their desired goal.

I've had a great time working with Nate. I was already somewhat fit before scheduling my first session, but I was in a bit of a rut. I'd plateaued with my own programming and I didn't understand how to balance my running schedule with strength training. On top of that, my mobility wasn't great. I was often tight and my movement felt restricted. I went into the first session very nervous about personal training. I'd heard about trainers who put their clients in less-than-ideal situations. So imagine my relief when Nate starts off by watching me move through a few exercises. He immediately put me at ease with his care and attention. First and foremost, it feels like Nate is passionate about safe movement. Building strength comes from that solid foundation. Not once have I ever felt like he's put my body at risk. My results? I went to Nate expecting some strategies for increasing muscle mass, but I've received so much more. My body has never moved so effortlessly. I no longer make small groans when getting up or taking a seat. My mind and body are working together in ways I never imagined. I'm getting the muscle mass and strength gains too ? I'd highly recommend anyone looking to get stronger, break out of a rut, or improve their physical health in general to give Natefit a try. I think you'll be happy you did.

In February of 2020 I was having some major nerve pain in my lower lumbar. I had to quit Crossfit, and any kind of gym training, as I was in so much discomfort and pain. Fast forward to that summer after an MRI and a visit to a Orthopaedic surgeon (surgery was not an option). I was diagnosed with having Lumbar spinal stenosis, several bulging discs in my lumbar, ranging from moderate to severe, and told to stay away from any high impact or strenuous activities. I tried everything from Physio, to acupuncture, myofascial release, you name it. These treatments all helped treat my symptoms, but they were only temporary, and were not giving me the results I needed to get back to my active lifestyle. After hearing about Natefit from a co worker, and instagram, I reached out to Nate, and I started online zoom mobility training this past September with him. This was one of the best decisions I ever made for my physical health and well being. Nate educated me and gave me the tools to make my spine more flexible and stronger. What Nate has taught me has been invaluable, he has helped me get out of pain, and got me back training in the gym, and enjoying a pain free life again. I can't thank you enough Nate, for all your help, and I will be recommending you to everyone I know. I look forward to more training from Natefit in the near future.

I have been training with Catalina for 3 months. Prior to working with her, I had never really done much strength training due to feeling very anxious at the gym and because I tended to get sick when I overexert myself. She took these issues very seriously and has worked with me to address the root causes of them. I have seen huge improvements in my strength and a big physical difference in my body, but she has also helped me build my confidence in a way I couldn't do on my own. Catalina is fantastic at explaining which muscles I should be targeting with each exercise and how to tell if I'm doing an exercise properly and safely. She always finds the balance between pushing me and understanding my limits. She is also just a fun person to talk to while working out. :) I only planned to work with a trainer for a short while to help kick start my gym journey, but I have gotten so much out of our sessions that I don't want to stop!

I’ve had ALL kinds of different coaching and Tyson at NateFit has been the absolute best!! Not only is he the most knowledgeable trainer, but he’s also supported me in getting the best results! I put on 15lbs of muscle from March to September!! He’s also very flexible with individual training needs. I’ve burnt out and gotten sick, and Tyson is quick to adjust my program to allow me to keep working out with my changing capacity. Signing up with NateFit is a great decision. I recommend them to all my friends!

As the Performance coach for the Kronos Triathlon Club, I found myself searching for a sport specific & innovative strength program for our Competitive squads. I finally found a match with NATEFIT who has provided the strength and conditioning program for our Senior/Elite squads since 2020. Both Nate and Tyson have a great rapport with the athletes, educating and empowering the athletes to learn about their own biomechanics, mobility and strength training. This was a big step up in our S&C programming and after seeing the overall decrease in injuries and increase in performances we plan to continue to work with NATEFIT for years to come. I went to see Nate last month with extreme lower back/sciatica issues. We worked through a series of stretching and movements to target the area, and I had instant relief from the first session. With continued training, I have seen an incredible improvement in such a short period of time. His knowledge and professionalism is quite impressive and I would highly recommend!

I started working with Nate in late November in regards to extreme lower back pain and leg numbness as a result of pushing my physical limits in the gym. Nate very carefully worked me through a series of movements to figure out what may be happening and his evaluation matched entirely with my doctors --bulged disc in the lower lumbar spine. Within one week, Nate had me out of pain and moving without the use of medication to get me through my day. His knowledge and experience in rehabilitating these issues has been beyond impressive and I'm so grateful to be continuing to work with him. As we move forward with personal training, I'm excited to see what I know will be true results in both mobility and muscle gain.

I have MS, and find that exercise greatly helps with my symptoms. When COVID hit I let my gym membership lapse, and had not exercised for a long time. When I went to see Nate I was quite frail….my balance was off, my legs were weak, and my arms hurt all the time. The first thing we tackled was my balance….we did a bunch of focus and balance exercises, while also working on strengthening my calf and lower leg muscles so that if I did lose my balance, I could catch myself without falling. The next thing we worked on was my shoulders and back strength….getting me to stand more upright so the nerves at the front of my chest weren’t pinched (and therefore causing nerve pain in my arms). And finally we worked on general strengthening. The thing with MS is that my days are so variable….sometimes I feel pretty good, and other days I’m quite weak. Nate was so good at matching my energy. When I was feeling good he pushed me…and when I wasn’t we worked mainly on light strengthening, stretching and deep breathing exercises. I think the biggest thing Nate helped me with was starting to train my mind….he encouraged me to take deep breaths and say ‘I am in control’…and I use this not only when I’m exercising, but also if I’m struggling with walking, or even dealing with general life and teenage kids ?. I am happy to say I am not frail at all right now…and am training for a 200 km bike ride (using my e-assist bike). My balance is better, and my legs and general strength is much higher than it was. The pain in my arms has decreased by probably 60%. I would highly recommend Nate as a very empathetic and knowledgeable partner on your fitness journey.
