First impressions are lasting and from the moment I stepped into the main office, I could tell that the Mystic Isle was a place managed with TLC. These spacious and beautifully decorated rooms provide beds that leave you feeling like you never left home. The bathroom can often be a place where the standards slide but nit at the Mystic. Beautiful fixtures and water that does not wreak with chlorine. This motel is a rare find and I highly recommend this establishment.

Wawa the town however leaves much to be desired - at least on a Monday in April. Nothing was open save a Chinese takeout and a friendly but sketchy hotel bar.
D	Dora Lee Martel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place. Beautiful, clean & comfortable motel with hiking trails in the rear and Lake Superior across the street. It has a spa vibe....so great to travel to with your own spa accessories....yoga mat & healthy food. They supply Keurig coffees.
R	Rae Fisker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice spot for Wawa. Good sized rooms and quiet. Good shower and cozy warm room with good beds. Only complaint is that there is no microwave in the room. Ridiculous to have to walk down to a vending machine room with your food to heat up. It was cold outside, had to get bundled up take food heat up and cold by the time got back to my room. Coffee was nice in room but large mugs and coffee got cold quickly and no way of heating up unless you went back outside and down to vending room. Vending machine still broken! My gut now stay again because of this.

Loved that they had microwave, kettle, ice machine and a few other amenities for visitors which made out stay more pleasant.
g	gillian james on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an initial hotel to go to but last minute changes my mind and it was well worth it, upon entering the office the beautiful aromatic smell that beautifully assault all you senses us magnificent, the decor was pristine and captivating small and quaint. Upon entering the room , breathtaking I absolutely loved it,my son even more than I as he got to take a very long bath. Customer service was exceptional and also very forthcoming it information. Worth every penny. ....

Lost satellite while I was there, but had a book. No biggie. Took the room a little while to warm up to 20 degrees with electric heat on a very arctic day. The view from the parking lot is nice & the place was clean & quiet. Lots of tea & coffee in the common kitchenette area. Highly recommend!
