I’m a very patient person and this place tested my patience to the max. We arrived on time for our 6:45 pm reservation and were seated inside by the window. It took probably 10 minutes before we were given a menu. The place was not terribly busy (given Covid restrictions on spacing). Shortly after placing our order we were brought their signature bread and a small bowl of chicken soup. Both very tasty. From this point on everything went downhill. We waited until 8:45 before we received our main course. At least seven other people who arrived and ordered after us received their mains before us. By the time our food came I was so upset that you could have served me the finest meal in the world and I still wouldn’t have enjoyed it. Despite mentioning the situation to the waitress their lack of service was not acknowledged. In any other establishment you would have received at least your drinks on the house to help ease the frustration. The food was okay, and like I said it probably would have tasted better if I hadn’t such a bad taste in my mouth before it arrived. In short, if you don’t have 2 hours to waste in a restaurant don’t bother stopping. (As you can see from the photos I did manage to watch the sunset over the two hours.)

Perfect stop at the end of the day. We took a room across the road and the motel’s owner highly recommend this place. And everything was true. We were seated outside on the patio which offers a fantastic view. Friendly server, fresh food and reasonable waiting time. We got started with a vegetable soup and a fresh salad. The cabbage roll with perogies were to die for. Freshly made, generous portion and difficult to finish ? The Alfredo fettuccine with shrimp was equally good and it had a generous amount of shrimp mixed in. Pasta was very nicely cooked and what was a really nice treat was their bread! We managed to buy a loaf and it was really one of the most delicious breads we had in a long time. I will highly recommend this place, whether is a quick stop of planning for a nice dinner. This place will not disappoint!

My husband and I ate dinner here on a windy, rainy night. It was perfect because it provided such a cozy atmosphere- very rustic. Windows looking out onto endless trees, cute little gazebo and what looked like a garden. Anyway, this is one of the most eclectic menus I have ever seen! I was impressed by the menu and pleasantly surprised. There is something on the menu for everyone- even the most picky eaters. The staff was amazing - so friendly and sweet. My husband and I were given a complimentary minestrone soup... and it was delicious!! I ate the seafood fettuccini and it was the best I've ever had. We will definitely revisit this charming little place again!

Worth the visit. We enjoyed the environment on the patio. Nice service and good food. So nice to get away from fast foods and eat real food.

I had a wonderful experience at this place . Their ambience and the location is amazing . The terrace overlooks the river . Had a chat with the owner , she is such a nice person , she accommodated all our food needs , since we were vegetarians . Their spring rolls were really fresh and tasty. The chickpea potato curry served with naan bread was so good . I was happy that the naan was freshly made unlike those store brought naans in many restaurants in Canada . Would recommend the place to anyone passing by Wawa .

Hidden along the river just east of Wawa lies a hidden gem such as I have never encountered. Decor that is elegant and tells a story of the restaurant, views that could take your breath away, and food I've never devoured so excitedly in many years. As I entered, a lovely couple leaving stated it was worth the wait (virtually non-existent) and it was. Quite possibly the best restaurant I've had the pleasure of dining in.

Absolutely amazing place. Curry with paratha roti is off the charts delicious. If you want to try the best hot sauce on earth, give it a go - but only use a tiny dab, or it will knock you off your feet!

Incredible food! Had the chicken curry with naan and the duck- just amazing. The curry is extremely filling! Dessert was also great! It gets busy so it's a good idea to call ahead for a reservation but well worth the wait!
