B	Bert Delaquis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great experience a couple nights ago when we stayed. A very friendly gentleman, William, greeted us when we got in. There was a mixed up with our room but William was quick to accommodate. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you William! And the homemade muffins were delicious.

As my daughter had decided at the last minute to accompany me on the trip, the owners offered me a 2-bed room instead of the 1-bed I had originally booked, for the same price. It was much appreciated. My only issue with my stay was the fact that, despite being in the middle of a global pandemic, housekeeping was entering and cleaning rooms without wearing minimal, appropriate PPE-a mask. I do hope she was at least wearing gloves and/or sanitizing her hands in between rooms. UPDATE: Reply to owner’s comment: FYI-Your housekeeping staff was not wearing a mask in the hallway, which is where I saw them. When someone wears a mask, it’s to protect others. I would’ve felt more comfortable and safe had they worn a mask while in my room, during my stay. It should not be an option.

Small shop for items you may have forgotten. Excellent service. Housekeeping does a fantastic mindful job. Our room was always kept up. Clean and restocked. Free coffee and homemade muffins are available each morning. There is a BBQ that can be used also. Not often do you find such level of kind friendly and attentive service in 2020. Also room FEELS clean. Much Gratitude from us.

Place smells of mold and urine Rooms are a disaster and looks structurally unsafe Had to throw out sharp shards of metal off my bed. Water was cold Wifi was spotty Room door wouldn't lock Go anywhere else in town, this was a bad experience
D	Dana Dumont on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place hasn't been updated since 1970, booked a queen room, got a dbl bed. Room doors are old style hollow bedroom doors, extremely noisy. After charging my credit card, hotel employees called us twice on the day of check in to make sure we were coming in case they could rent out our room to someone else... DO NOT RECOMMEND EDIT: Sadly, instead of accepting the review as a way to improve the motel, the review was taken as a personal attack. The response from the owners was fabricated. My husband, myself and the imaginary 3rd person who shared our bed will steer clear of the motel in the future.
S	Susan Stewart on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place perfectly fits the description of "fleabag motel". It is old and decrepid. Carpet was badly stained. Bed was hard. Pillows flimsy. Towels were dark brown so you couldn't tell if they were clean. There was a dirty washcloth behind the bathroom door and food in the fridge from the previous occupant. Television did not work. (Might have been the remote). Foot of the bed almost touched the wall so you couldn't walk around it to get to the other side. The decor is 1970's. Wallpaper is in gold and browns. The worst of it was the smell. It smelled of many years of human sweat of which a bad attempt was made to cover it over with cheap perfume-y cleaning fluid. I have stayed at almost every motel along the Hwy 17 corridor and in to Wawa. This was the worst. I do not understand how it could have a 4 star rating.
R	Robin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 stars for value for a clean, neat place with many nice welcoming touches. Not a new place and lots of dated furniture etc but well kept. Lowest price around, and even had a fridge in my room. Free coffee in the lobby!
R	R MB on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room was dirty, toilet not cleaned. The previous person left a charger behind and there was garbage beside the bed hidden just slight under near the table. It was cold, one of the lights did not work nor did the toilet flush properly. The towels smelled, nasty brown, bedsheets looked wrinkled and used up, door didn't lock properly. No microwave or mini fridge. Same owners as best northern absolutely equally horrible over there.
