★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited the new location of this British retailer on Robson St. and was impressed. While other brands catering to the outdoors enthusiast are downsizing (Eddie Bauer), or experiencing financial problems (MEC), Mountain Warehouse is opening a few stores in Vancouver. Selection is what you would expect from an adventure/travel-oriented brand: down jackets, rain gear, ski gear, backpacks, hiking boots, and other related accesories, for women, men and children. Based on the fact that these articles are exclusive to these stores and that they are made in the same factory as North Face gear, there should be some assurance in terms of their quality. Prices are competitive and found some good deals on summer clothing. Customer Service was helpful and diligent, making sure hand sanitizer is used upon entrance, and covid protocols are observed. Definitely recommend a visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just want to give a big shout out about this store. We stumbled upon it by accident on our way to Eddy Bauer and did price comparisons and I finally found my
breathable (with removable liner and hood) rain jacket without having to take out a loan at the bank ! ($120.00+tax) Attentive, friendly and very knowledgeable staff.

The other staff member was just kind of there. Needed a big hiking bag in a flash and found a high quality one at a great price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only giving a one star rating because that's the lowest I'm allowed to give to leave a review. Ordered a pair of black waterproof shoes to be delivered to my home address, was notified by email that they were delivered to the store. Unfortunately what I ordered was not what I got. What I hoped was a black pair of shoes was replaced with teal ones. The following day I returned the shoes to the shop I collected them from and explained my situation and looking to collect what I originally ordered. After searching in the store room, and returning with a wrong size, I asked him if it's possible to return my shoes and get the correct pair shipped out. Now, my size was not available and to quote the shop assistant I was speaking with "the reason you got the wrong shoes delivered was because we must of sold out of the black ones so they probably put the teal ones in the box and assumed you would be okay with that". I assume that this isn't the way Mountain Warehouse operates but to be told this from one of their employees is rather alarming. I immediately asked to be refunded. According to the email I received about the refund, I am still being charged the delivery cost which is unacceptable as what was delivered was not what I ordered. Would be very hesitant in ordering anything online from this company.
