Just had lunch there today (the 11th) with my family and the service was phenomenal. The gentleman who was taking care of us, Andrew M, was fantastic. He was kind and courteous while also being attentive and efficient. He was also incredibly funny. He was a joy to trade quips with and definitely had a quick with. He made our lunch quite the experience and I would 100% recommend people to go to this location just to be able to interact with him. He made our day. The food was great as well of course, Mac and cheese, burrito bowl and some racks of ribs. What a lovely day, thank you Montana's!

I'd like to say that I have had the best customer experience at this location. Trevor the manager was extremely hospitable and professional. Our food was awesome and came in a timely manner. The waitresses were also very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back. Thanks again Trevor and team.

if 0 stars could be given they WOULD be used - went to this location twice before in the last year and it used to be decent for steaks and ribs - NOT sure what happened since then for the most current visit yesterday was abysmal - the waitstaff individual was like non-existent / nonattentive and acted like the job was unimportant - kept apologizing to other tables for long wait on food and quality - didnt say anything to my party at my table - didnt check a cup that leaked a lake of water on the table - didnt timely ask if everything was provided to compliment the meal - and the worst part - the meal itself had a huge drop in quality - not to mention the entrรฉe was provided WITHOUT the steak - had to wait longer for the steak to arrive for an already long wait process with no explanation - the steak fajitas when they finally came were dried up and hard - like old meat - overcooked - and the fajita vegetables looked transparent and inedible - MESSAGE TO MANAGEMENT: this is an unacceptable business practice when the bad service and food quality is also observed at other tables - you WILL drive your patrons to seek other better options at AMERICAN restaurants if this is not remedied - not to mention HIGH prices here are despicable

Not the old Montana's. I've been in the neighborhood for more than a decade and loving Montana's. Food was not even warm; the only sizzling food was the fajita we've ordered for my dad. Even when I asked for a Tuesday $2 kids meal at the beginning of our order, I was charged $12.97 at the bill and she could not refund the money and told us to come back next time and tell the story, finally she paid back by cash. I never had this experience in many visits in the past. I'm not sure it is pandemic or management. 2 stars were for the sake of years of having good memories of this location. I felt embarrassed in front of my parents. I've invited them for supper.

Pretty disappointed with this location. My wife and I ate here a month ago, dined in and the portions were very big, we ordered takeout the other night and the portions were tiny, we feel ripped off because we got less food for the same price, it doesn't matter if we're eating inside or at home you should get the same amount of food for the price you pay. Another issue is that the the toppings on my firecracker burger were burnt/overcooked, the jalapenos weren't even green? I had to take them all off to enjoy it. I'm attaching a picture below, the kapow shrimp have also been overcooked the past few times we went but I figured that's just how they do them now. We both love Montana's and want to keep coming but lately it just feels like it's gotten greasier and the quality has gone down. We might try another location to see if it improves. We haven't had an issue at the upper James location yet. It's further but we are willing to make the drive if it means improved quality and portion sizes.

Great service, server was very nice. My friend and I haven't seen each other in months, so we had lots to chat about. He made us feel very comfortable in taking our time before ordering! Which is amazing. Foods always good here. Love the overall vibe.

Great food! We ordered take out from here. The food was ready exactly on time so it was still warm by the time we got home. Portions are very generous, the wrap was huge and stuffed with fresh toppings. Overall we had a great experience and will be ordering from here again.
