★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Made an appointment for a quote over the phone where I went over what I was looking for and what my house was (a semi detached home in Toronto). The day before my appointment for a quote, I got a call confirming my appointment. Four hours after that, I got a call cancelling my appointment because they 'don't like to do semis'.
Waste of time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We reached out to Modular Home additions to add a second floor to our bungalow house. They were referred to us in one of the home renovations shows. After we got the quote from them it took us more than 2 years to finally decide whether we actually want to do it. Modular didn't push us. They let us take our time. They were happy to help us when we finally decided to sign the contract. From that moment on everything was handled very professionally. We were living in the house with kids, while the reno went on. Everyone respected our privacy and safety. They were very efficient and on budget. We didn't have to pay any extra to the contract amount except for the things we changed. The things we like most about them is the flexibility they give us. When we want to change something they accommodated our change and tell us this is how much or how less it's going to cost you whether you like the change and proceed with a change order. We wanted to use our contractor for the roof and they accommodated that. I specifically want to thank Dmitry for his excellent service. He coordinated our project really well exceeding our expectations, always there for us for questions. Also want to thank Dule, Marceo and the team. Very professional and knowledgeable. We really like the stucco contractor Shan referred by Modular. Stucco work made a big difference in the final appearance of the house. Thank you modular for building a beautiful house for us. Keep up the excellent work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a major reno + 2nd floor addition back in 2015. Good quality workmanship that stands up over time. I did had have a small roofing leak the other day and Modular promptly resolved the issue as a warranty repair. They truly stand behind their work! I highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We added a second floor to our bungalow, gutted and completely renovated the main floor too. These guys do excellent work. They are the most organized contractors I've ever dealt with. The staff is very professional and generally just nice to deal with.
The building crew was amazing and most of the contractors they brought in did really good work. We really didn't have to worry about the project and felt that we were in good hands for the entire build.
The team told us construction would take 5 months to complete and almost 5 months to the day, we moved back in. However, we still had a few small outstanding items to complete. Unfortunately, this was where things kinda fell apart for us. The process slowed down a little too much for our liking. It took more than 3 months to get some of those last items completed which was frustrating.
Despite this, I still felt our overall experience was good and if I had to do it again, I would hire Modular again.
