★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owners real sushi and rolls are awesome! It just returned a few years back. Even we travel other cities, we always come home to visit Minato Sushi no matter what. Now they open only Tuesday to Saturday, so busy though. Also current servers are great and kind.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We love the food here, it is excellent. Song & Shun (hope spelt right?) are great hosts. Whether take out or dine in , they always give top quality sushi. We highly recommend you fit this in when dining out in Powell River!

Black wheat noodle was used in yaki soba and that's just weird... it was so chewy and there was no sauce.. so dry?
Spicy tuna roll well the sauce wasn't blended well so a few pieces were spicy! While the other ones didn't have much sauce in those pieces.
Ebi gyoza was meh ...
We spent $137 and it was a waste of money. It was our first time and last time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Minato is excellent. They have amazing quality and service. I always get the Chicken Teriyaki and my wife gets the Sushi. Sometimes I like a little more rice so I get an extra rice. Nothing bad to say at all about this business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've loved Minato Sushi since they first arrived in Powell River. Their service is consistently good as is their menu and food preparation. Staff are well versed in information on their menu and their service is polite and accurate.
