We arrived midday on a weekday. The place was totally empty. Staff member seemed kind of annoyed we came in. Not friendly, barley spoke to us.
I mean I get it, I used to work in a busy grocery store. Who knows, maybe there was a jerk customer in before us that threw the staff's vibes off. Not sure what happened to bother the staffer. Not really interested in trying the establishment again ?♀️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The quality of coffee here is perfect - taste to sweetness to overall quality. It is a little pricier than most but is worth what you get. They also serve butterblock croissants here and also a few other baked goods. They have a small patio out front and some indoor dining room (when that is available again).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service - it looked like there was only one staff member on site but she was so efficient and friendly. Our order was perfect - we got four freshly made sandwiches (Egg and bacon, Italian job). We wanted to enjoy our cookie so we said we'd come back inside to grab the sandwiches, but she came outside to deliver the sandwiches when she was done! The egg and bacon sandwiches were excellent!! Definitely worth the value. The Italian Job was ok but was not as tasty as the egg and bacon. Highly recommended for service, almond cookie, and freshly made egg and bacon sandwich.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We feel in love with Milano coffee at this location. Then we moved to Victoria and it’s still part of our daily life. Just back in Calgary for a few days and it is so nice to come back this location. Still the best coffee in Calgary and the best baristas! Your team is always so friendly and helpful. The master reserve espresso yesterday and today was fabulous. We are going to order some when we get back. Thanks for all your hard work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous cafe serving great coffee. Barista was so good with recommendations. Spent a Sunday afternoon studying from here, was busy at times and it was not too crowded. Lots of space to sit inside and outside.

Pet-friendly, enough light even at the corner table, cute tote and coffee mugs to shop. Not many food options for vegetarians and couple options they had were quite pricey for the food portion. Closes at 3pm on sundays and 4pm on other days.
