Contractors beware! Owner does not pay total invoices, they commit by issuing PO's but then short pay you based on what they want to pay even though the price negotiated is upfront. They take a month to send payments. Very dishonest. Avoid at all costs!!

Only reason why I still live in Delcourt in Edmonton is that it's a great location. Resident Supervisor (a fancy title for the Hall Monitor) is undermining, and the Calgary office is the literal definition of a joke, a joke so bad you have to laugh. A perk of moving in was that a Telus internet package was offered. Unfortunately I can't take advantage of this offer because my suite has NO PHONE JACK. HOW!!???!?! Also, no private property signage, so if someone is parked in my stall I can't get the vehicle towed. A tenant portal is used on an app. On this app, you can request services required. I requested a phone jack installation. I got nothing in return from Signature Properties. No phone call, no email. Not even a letter. They DO know where I live, right? My request was closed with no further input from the company. AND now I am unable to make any further requests on the app! Thanks, Signature! Calling Jodi Barber led to a conversation where options would be looked at and I would be informed of what they are, to help resolve my lack of phone jack issue. This was 2 months ago. Haven't heard a word from her since. Shocker! Overall, my experience is that Signature Properties absolutely can NOT be bothered. A complete lack of customer care or service. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT TENANTS. ***UPDATE 03/24/2020*** It took this scorcher of a review and a stern email about going to mediation to have Signature finally get back to me. They presented a solution that would suit everyone and I consider this matter resolved. Lessons learned out of this: thouroughly check apartments that you're moving into, this includes looking for something standard like a phone jack. Also, if you want a company to do the right thing, sometimes you gotta put'em on blast. Changing my review from 1 star to 3 stars. Proper Customer Service is still an issue.

When we lived there it was infested with cockroaches. A year of treatment cycles every few months did not fix the issue. Would ask for proof that building is pest free before moving here.

Owner is entitled, arrogant and condescending. Has no regard for other people's rights or the regulations in place to protect them. Avoid at all costs. EDIT**** response to reply Since it wonโ€™t let me reply to you, this is the next best option. You want to air dirty laundry, ok. First, that review AND our final interaction was over a year ago when I came home to find you in my apartment without notice. It had nothing to do with rent or deposit, it had to do with your โ€œrequirementโ€ that you enter the resident managers suite once per month. I found that request completely unreasonable, if you did that to any other tenant they would be gone in no time. That was my home, not an office. I am entitled to privacy just the same as everyone else is. You quite literally got in my face and told me it was your โ€œrightโ€ to enter my home. The moment I closed the door I started packing. Secondly, as I have stated in several emails, there was not a lease signed nor a walk through completed. If there had been you would have gone through appropriate channels to attempt to collect what you say is owed to you. I have asked for copies of these which you apparently cannot provide me. Third, I had to take you to the labour board in order to be paid (appropriate channels) so donโ€™t try to play the innocent victim. Your reply (and again I reiterate to a review posted ONE YEAR AGO) is nothing but a feeble attempt to save face and get back at me. Iโ€™m flattered that you still seem to be seething over this so long after the fact, and once I sent you a cease and desist I guess you figured this was your next best option. This will be my only response to this. Please move on.

I am a long time tenant, this year will be 18 years and the addition of Medo has been incredible. He is such a wonderful young man always pleasant. Feels like we are a small family. Thank you

Signature properties got the building last year since that time we don't worry about our mother,a senior living by herself, she love to be there but no place! Medo is the manager, he is the best. He has been working very hard since. he turned this building up and keep it Clean, safe. He is helping my mother whenever she needs he is super super responsive and always there to help when there is a problem. Thanks Medo for taking care about our mother.
