★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Middlebrun Bay Trail is the best trail in Sleeping Giant Provincial Park if you are looking for a quick hike into a place for a picnic or a swim. The trail is short and well kept, it can be hiked in sandals if you wanted. Middlebrun Bay, itself, has a long sand beach. The beach is a little narrow because water levels are so high but there is more than enough space for beach towels. The water temperature can be cold but it is always refreshing, it is also shallow so you can walk out quite far.
