On April 18th 2022 i booked an Oil change at Midas on 1310 50 Street and was given excellent customer service in a timely manner from Rudy Kasongo. He was a very polite, knowledgeable and professional customer service representative to deal with. I was extremely pleased with the level of service i received as well from the service mechanics at Midas and with the timelines of the work that was completed. I would very much recommend for customers to deal with Rudy at this Midas location.

Took my mom's car in for a routine oil change and was greeted by a wonderful nice lady and afterwards was given a discount for the long wait time i had incurred. Love this place and the staff in it. Will deffinately be taking my car there as well ss recommend it to my friends and family.

Had the pleasure to meet Nethaniel who went above and beyond to help me out in my time of need. Had a blowout not too far from the shop location and he took me in right away and addressed my concern in a surprisingly quick and timely matter! Also would like to give a shout out to Moira, her contagious personality and mannerism really brings the place together! Both of them always put the customer’s needs first!

Had appointment last Saturday at 2pm was left without vehicle for two days took half a day on Monday to get my vehicle picked up no response from the Midas still waiting for alignment print out. The vehicle was there just for alignment and still no answer. Please be aware of this shop not satisfied with their service and work. No calls to let you know if your vehicle is ready or not and Good luck getting a hold of this shop .

I have been having nothing but issues with my car after getting my oil changed at location. My car has less than 14,000 km and is only a few years old, and now it’s rattling and vibrating. If you’re a woman be careful of this location; a good price oil change will be costing me a lot more in repairs. I have so many regrets right now.

Buyer beware. This place likes to pray on people whom they don’t think know better. Went to get a tire patched and they refused to do it saying my tires had no tread and that I needed to buy new tires. My tire tread is fine , I actually have less than 2 year old high quality tires currently on my vehicle. Don’t go here.

Was quite surprised how friendly this place was, have gone 3 times now and each time I've went there was always some deal going on. My car dealership was easily 120-130 for a simply oil change. Here it was generally 60-70 bucks. Would definitely go back to this place

I would never go back here again after the completely underwhelming (and frankly infuriating) experience. They replaced an already expensive part and charged notably more than it should have, then didn’t even address the issue the vehicle was brought in for but told the vehicle owner that it was “good to go”. We didn’t even have to drive the vehicle off the lot and you could hear the rattling that we brought it in for (exhaust manifold), which showed me they didn’t test drive it before they gave it back. We had to call back multiple times to get a response and were promised someone would contact us but it didn’t happen, except maybe one staff member occasionally. When we finally got in store I confronted a staff member about the complete lack of communication, he got very aversive saying he called back everytime and denied what we told him (we had to call MULTIPLE times and waited multiple weeks). We have the phone records to prove it but not a single apology was given. If your staff don’t communicate, that’s not my fault, that’s the business’s fault. When I asked why they don’t communicate to each other to ensure things aren’t missed and the services are provided as promised, he didn’t have a valid response and threatened to refuse to provide the service that was planned for that day. If your customer isn’t happy with how your company handled a situation and they are trying to make sense of it with you but your response is to threaten to refuse service because you don’t have a legitimate response back to the issue… that shows a lack of professionalism and accountability. I even contacted multiple outside mechanics to get their honest take on the situation and they all agreed that Midas overcharged and handled the situation very very poorly. $6K later and the car’s engine light is back on two days after bringing it home from Midas…. Save yourself the money, headache and trouble and go somewhere else but here.
