A	Afghan Jay on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife made appointment for 7:15 and she didn’t get in until 8:40 as we were waiting people came in with appointments after every 15 mins like why make appointments for people if you know it’s not going to be at that time I prefer people go somewhere else as he only wants the money from patients that’s why they are booking appointments every 5 mins
E	Eduard Tatomir on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you have an appointment with him be sure to arrive 2 hours after it’s scheudled because there is literally no way in hell you will get in on time. Family doctor for over a decade, I could be here in the middle of a weekday or when you think there’s no one but there’s always someone in front of you who’s already been waiting over an hour and a half and you know your whole night is gone when all you want is a checkup or something quick.
K	Khatool Minayar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well I had gotten a call from the office to come in for a job interview, of course I went and then a dew5 days later iI get a called indicating I have been selected for the Jon position of Medical Receptionist. I was given a week of my work schedule. I was gone for the Job first day. Ofcourse first impression counts so I had scrums too. I introduced myself to the staff, I worked in the morning shift and afternoon I was off and then was called again but at the end of the day, I was about to leave and sayngoodbye, when I was asked to come in the office and told I am not linger employees at the clinic. So I let disappoint ed but at the end of the day I get Lear how to used EMR software and blood pressure , how could I forget I weight a child and height too.

In the early stage, he was good at me, called me in about on time of appointment, given enough time to listen to my issues. But lately, he is totally opposite though he is my whole family members family doctor. In this days he calls me in one and a half hour later of the appointment time and spend only 5 to 10 minutes to concluded the appointment and keeps reminding me that "more patients are waiting for me in the waiting area" and says, "if you have more than one issues then come up with another appointment". From last month, I had an urinal issue and tried to reach him over the phone for 14 times but no one answered the call and no option to leave a voice message. On 4th August, I have been admitted at St. Michael Hospital emergency and stayed in for about 16 hours due to my urinal issue. I started calling his office from July 12 to August 19th, 2021 to get an appointment but no answer. I am extremely frustrated due to his this kind of practice and I am wandering if I should find a new family physician though I learned most of the family physicians do not accept any new patients?

My only thing is, don’t expect to get in and out of there quick, the wait time is at the minimum an hour (even with an appointment). I still wouldn’t go anywhere else ?
J	J CB on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ People complain about how long the wait is in his office but they don't realized that he really takes time to listen to your issues once you are being seen - that is why the wait is long. I really like Dr. Chu, he listens to you and makes sure that he sends you to do tests and sends you to specialists to give you answers about your concerns. Last time I was there, he told me to call after 2days to find out my test results, so I did, secretary put me on hold, I was surprised that Dr. Chu took the phone even in between his busy schedule just to discuss the results to me over the phone. Some doctors rarely do that! He is a gem!

He is a very hard working and dedicated to his patients. Him and his staff make every effort to get you quick appointments from the specialist too. Dr. Chu has been my doctor for 25 year. He is an experience professional that has provide much needed medical care to people of Thorncliffe.
