I wanted to go into Michael Kors to look at their sunglasses as that was what I was looking for as a birthday present from my husband. Before entering the store I was very firm with my children that this was a nice and expensive store and that they needed to behave while I shopped for a few minutes. We entered the store and walked right to the back where the sunglasses were. The boys were standing quietly beside me as I tried on a few pairs. Barely minutes had passed and I was approached by a sales associate. Without even so much as a greeting, she told me that my boys would have to go sit on the bench, which was on the other side of the store, or we would have to leave. To this point, my 7 year old, 5 year old and 23 month old boys had not moved from my side and had caused no issues. I placed the sunglasses I was trying on back where I got them then looked at the associate and advised her that she had lost my business. Then I left the store. This has left me wondering just what prejudices Michael Kors instills in its employees. Was it because as a young mother with 3 children, I couldn't possibly afford to shop there? Or was it just that children are unwanted in their stores? Either way, Michael Kors has lost a once devoted customer
S	Sultan Ghaznawi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife was in the store today, I was waiting outside. My wife is an avid shopper at luxury brands, but she left the store within a couple of minutes. When I asked why, she said she did not feel welcome as the Asian sales girl there told me wife that she may find the merchandise too expensive after my wife inquired about the price. Micheal Kors had already fallen in quality and competes with lower end brands, but now they have fallen in customer service as well. I am not sure if the sales lady only caters to a specific race of people or has no interest in business, but we will certainly not shop at this place ever due to racial discrimination.
s	s k on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a horrible experience shopping at Michael Kors, Markville mall, Markham Ontario. I will never shop there again. Manager has a very poor attitude. I had purchased a Michael Kors tot hand bag in February 2018 still in original package, I was looking to exchange it. When I entered the store, the manager asked me to show her the receipt of my purchase and said she will hold my handbag at the counter while I browse. Felt staff catering towards specific race and don't trust some customers. She made me feel as though I will steal something from the shop. Despite that, I handed her my receipt and my hand bag. Once I decided which handbag I would like to exchange with (which was at a higher price purse) she said she is unable to do so as it is past 30 days + 10 days. What a waste of my time. I felt so miserable. No customer service satisfaction. Poor attitude of the manager. What a poor experience for a mother's day purchase.

My impression is that the sales ladies would give me space until I was ready to enquire about the items I am looking at. The reason that I am giving four stars is because my watch and shoes purchased from Michael Kors were of excellent quality and I enjoyed both experiences. However, when I purchased a hand bag it wasn't checked over for any damages before I left the store by the sales associates. When I got the bag home I noticed black glue smeared all along parts of the leather. I returned it immediately with no issues. I would definitely come back to this location as I have not experienced any of the service issues described in other reviews (perhaps they have done retraining or spoke to their sales staff since the other reviews were posted) and I have loved all of the items I have purchased here. It would be nice of the store to respond to some of the negative reviews to know for sure that customers' concerns were heard.

I went to get a wallet for my wife, as she has a MK bag already. Buying an accessory for someone is a terrifying experience at the best of times...will it match they way they want? ... do they already have an idea in their head that they have not shared with you? ...are you totally out of your mind, because this is like buying jewelry and it's impossible to get it exactly right!! But I digress. The staff were hugely helpful, tag teaming to look up information and give feedback and perspective. They made it easy and ensured it was perfectly "right"!

I understand that working during COVID can be hard and stressful but she was just plain rude and did not seem like she wanted to be there and help. I won’t be coming back to this store if this is the type of treatment customers receive. Not impressed.
