Went in to fix a necklace and get a knot out of a chain and bought myself another silver necklace and it was perfect price joined their membership and got money off my new necklace!!

If i could, I would give this 0 stars in a heart beat !! My fiancΓ© and I purchased a beautiful rose gold engagement ring from Michael hills 2 years ago. We waited 7 months for it and when he proposed to me it was 2 sizes too big, what a big disappointment ( yes, i did go in to get it sized) !! We waited another 3 months for it to be sized ( which its still the wrong size ) and got sent back to the wrong location!! Also it turns out the ring is not rose gold !! The experience all together was horrible. Will never go back again !!!

My son was shopping for a ring for himself. The associate Kari was fantastic!!! She attentive, bubbly, helpful and a breath of fresh air!!!! Kari is a real asset! She showed us a ring that was just what my son was looking for and in his budget! Thanks for making my son's day!!!

Worst jewellery store ever. Brand new ring with extended warranty and forgot to take it in one time to have checked and the one of the diamonds fell out. You are suppose to have it inspected every 6 months and we did but we were late on the last one. They won't honor the warranty now. We have had rings last 40 plus years and never checked once let alone every 6 months. Don't go there. Quality of products sold is obviously abysmal. This also happened twice to my brother in law from the same store and now my wife from the same store. BUYER BEWARE.....

Pro: the store offers some pretty, unique designs. Cons..what I thought was a pro turned out to be a con job. They promote their β€œdiamond replacement warranty” but it’s not what you might believe. First you MUST have your jewelry inspected at least every 6 months and you MUST bring your warranty paperwork to each inspection to have it signed off (I am not prone to carry my jewelry warranty paperwork around with me so this is issue #1). Any failing diamond claws requires you to send the piece to their goldsmith (across the country) so be prepared to be without your jewelry for weeks on end (issue #2). Any repair to failing jewelry is NOT covered by the warranty and will be at your expense (as the manager explained to me this is considered maintenance and repairs...) Did I mention that if you miss even one 6 month approved and recorded inspection, or do not pay the inflated prices of their goldsmith for repairs your diamond warranty is now VOIDED...period! My ring lost 3 diamonds in 2.5 years which is evidence of poor workmanship, and in spite of the fact I had brought my ring in for 2 cleanings and inspections, because they were not within 6 month intervals and my paperwork was not signed off (the staff made no mention of this requirement at the time-the manager said it was MY responsibility to recall the fine details of the warranty) there was no warranty for those diamonds and repairs were going to be at my cost at their preferred goldsmith. According to the Manger, my jewelry is like a car that will need frequent inspection, maintenance and repairs like oil changes in a car (that I should be prepared to invest my own money on regular intervals). If my purchase from Michael Hill was a car it would have been considered a LEMON! If you have plenty of time and money, a Michael Hill purchase might be right for you, but if not, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY at this store, go to another retailer who stands behind quality jewelry.

Absolutely atrocious. I bought a rope weave white gold necklace for my partner for Christmas. It was light weight because it was hallow inside. The design was faulty and it fell off of his neck within a month. I brought it back. LUCKILY they had included the care package so they shipped it away for free to be fixed. It returned in about 3-4 weeks. I left work to pick it up, but it was still broken!! Before I sent it away I pointed out two weak points to one of the store personnel and they assured me they would make note of it. I inspected it upon picking it up and found very obvious weak points again. They sent it away for another 3-4 weeks. I again left work (mid work day) to go pick it up for the second time. It literally fell apart in the sales person's hands. That was the second time I had taken time off work to pick up a broken necklace. I guess they sent it to someone local this last time as it was a very quick return. Unfortunately, it was still broken!!! Absolutely insane. I had left work for a 3rd time to pick up a broken necklace. They then decided it was a faulty product and their solution was to offer me a credit. Well, it has been many months since Christmas, I took time off work to pick up a broken necklace 3 times, and I am not getting the product I had wanted. I asked for a full refund. They have denied me. Now I have no product and I am out all of the money. The manager told me all he could do was suggest I call customer service as he could not give refunds as it has now been more than 30 days since purchase. I called customer service and they apologized for me being directed to them as they could not give refunds. They said they would call the manager and discuss the situation and I would hear back within 48 hours. About 4 days later I received a voicemail saying my necklace was ready for pick up!?!?!?
