Our poor goldendoodle puppy was so timid and scared when we started, but each new class we took her to gave her, and us, more confidence. Now she is a well behaved, boisterous happy puppy. One of Calgary best kept secrets.

She understands and loves dogs and absolutely radiates authority. She helped me understand my dog better and as a result he was way happier!

We have a golden retriever/ lab who loves everybody and a huskie lab who is fear aggressive and she treats both completely differently. Her training style is individual to each dog and intense but also very kind. These classes have not only helped our dogs confidence and obedience but also have help mine and my husbands confidence with our dogs. I recommend doing both the indoor and then outdoor classes. Great classes !

We have been with 4 trainers in the past, and 2 sessions in with Suzanne has made a world of difference for us. My GSD struggles with reactivity and overarousal, and I felt very inconfident to handle her before. And Suzanne has definitely helped with that by teaching us science-based and reward-based training. Now my dog is way calmer and actually enjoys heeling and engaging with me, and actually makes BETTER DECISIONS without me managing her. Suzanne taught me and my dog how to think for ourselves (no more micromanaging!), which is such a great way to shape discipline. She is wonderful to work with - very responsive, kind, and understanding. I would recommend her to anyone! I am very lucky and happy to have found Metropawlitan. We will continue with the private sessions, and soon we’ll be able to graduate to group classes! ?

She has years and years of professional experience training dogs from little puppies to full on competition dogs. She utilizes both online and in-person teaching techniques that can accommodate local Calgarians to people across the globe. I was living abroad in Asia for a while and one of our dogs was having a hard time adjusting to his new environment. Suzanne was able to not only accommodate the 14 hour time difference but also do video based real-time training with my dog! If that isn’t a testament to her passion to helping our fur babies, I don’t know what is!
