I booked and paid for obedience classes for my 12 month old dog and patiently waited three weeks for training to start only to be contacted the day before that they are cancelling the class as they are one dog short. There are no classes starting again for another four weeks with the academy and due to the short notice of cancellation, I am not able to register him for any classes elsewhere that start sooner. Incredibly disappointing and because of my experience I would not recommend.

I was so wrong. The classes are so much fun! It is very structured and the puppies learn a lot. We have gone to 4 of the 6 lessons already and the change in my puppy is amazing. I am looking forward to more classes in the future. I highly recommend Kayenna!!

Unfortunately, we contracted Covid 19 on the day we were to start so I contacted the company requesting to move to their next kindergarten sessions. We were told that our classes were not transferable and not refundable and we could follow along online. I advised that we were both quite sick and it would be difficult to follow along and that I’m not asking for my money back only to change my class to the next time they could fit me into a kindergarten class. I asked to have my concern forwarded to management and was told this happened and I would hear back after the weekend. After one week I have still not heard back and as my partner and I are both still sick we had to miss another class. Kayenna appears to have chosen to take my money and not do business in good faith. I will not return as a customer and I will take my business elsewhere. I will also ensure to share my experience.

They want everyone to succeed and most importantly have fun with your dog! Everyone is cheering each other on. My son looks forward to going to his weekly agility class.

The class was professional, cost effective and very organized. This place knows dogs! I was also pleased we were given tasks to work on during the week that carried training through. I already signed up for the next round of classes. Thank you Kayenna for everything you do!

My first dog was older and reactive when I adopted him. Kayenna was recommended to me by people heavily involved in the dog world. They really helped me understand and train my dog to be happy in his new home environment. My new dog is my first puppy and I really needed help working with his very high, super charged puppy energy. I have taken a series of classes including Puppy Obedience, Obedience 1 and currently Focus, Fun and Games. They have helped save my sanity and are helping me learn how to best channel what’s great about my dog into a more focused dog. We will be starting a scent class next and I also look forward to the try all class where you can Experence all the different kind of activity classes they offer. The trainers are top notch including Bob, who my dog adores, Alysa and Lauren, the owner.

So far, I have taken: Rally Novice, Tricks 1&2, Agility Intro-Grade 4 + Weaves and Breakfast Clubs, as well as Scent Detection Intro - Advanced. The relationship I have built with my dog in the process is bar none. The success in their training is in the pudding, as we are starting to bring home multiple ribbons and titles from various dog competitions. The trainers at Kayenna in my opinion, are the best in the business! I recently went to my first agility competition with trainer and manager, Tracey Geddes. Every time she got up to run her dogs, a crowd formed to watch her. In that moment, I couldn't have been more proud that she was the trainer of my girl. She and the other trainers are well-respected in the dog community for good reason. They are both intelligent and kind, and above all promote having fun, and building a strong and trusting relationship with your dog. I highly recommend Kayenna Training Academy to everyone I know. I hope to see you there, as I know I will be continuing to train my dogs here for many years to come! And the community and friendships you will create at Kayenna Training Academy will last a lifetime.
