Talked to the breeder of our puppy and researched on the web to identify and cure a behavioral issue that surfaced during the first obedience class with Danielle, that she was no help with. Ten minutes of training at home did the trick (pun intended). So basically I withdrew the puppy after only one class rather than waste my time and discourage the puppy.

Danielle helped me turn my monster puppy into a wonderfully obedient and happy dog. People stop me on the street regularly to ask how I got my dog to walk so nicely on a leash. I highly recommend WCCA to anyone looking to improve their relationship with their dog and their dog's manners.

I would highly discourage attending this training facility. I had rescued a German shepherd puppy, and registered him into her obedience class. The instructor has set favorites in her class, she would neglect the dogs the needed more help, and socialization skills (part of why you put a dog into training) so that they would be around other pets. Imagine putting your child into a school to get help, and the teacher would walk by, not give assistance and only work with peers (whom were registered in puppy training) and neglect your child. I had attended 4 classes and noticed this and withdrew from her training. I later registered my dog into sit happens and wow what a difference. smaller classes, more one on one, even with hard to work with dogs as myself. My dog has accelerated at sit happens, and I feel well about referring others to this school. If you register in her puppy classes you will find that she will cater to you more then if you just registered to one of her classes. I highly do not recommend WCCA for training whatsoever. My dogs name is Prince, he is now 8 months old and is accelerating better then he would have had we stayed with WCCA.

I have owned many dogs and had several trainers over the last 35 years. Danielle is the best trainer I've ever had. She is non biased, very professional and still has classes that are fun and informative.

I brought my very reactive dog to basic obedience and with Danielle's help, we totally transformed him. She is always available for help anytime you need. Taking her level one scent detection also gave my paralyzed dog something fun to do. She's so patient with everyone and really helps you work through every little speed bump with you and your dogs. You couldn't ask for a better trainer.

Danielle is an absolutely wonderful trainer. As a Corso owner I was looking for a trainer with experience in the working breed and strong minded dogs, but wanted to avoid some of the more "assertive" methods typically associated with the breeds. Corsos are strong willed, stubborn, but emotional. I needed a trainer who could help me be assertive without affecting my relationship with my dog. Her understanding of training goes beyond just the obedience for the sake of obedience, many trainers are capable of that. Dogs are smart and will learn commands, if you want your dog to be obedient because you told it to, you can go to a lot of places. Danielle is someone that uses obedience, tricks, games and more as a way to build a relationship with your dog that will last. She taught me how to use my body language and tones along with reading his responses in order to gain his respect in a way that was not to harsh or too soft. If you want a trainer that will train you just as much as she trains your dog, then this is your spot. The best thing you can do for your dog and yourself in training is learn to understand what you are telling them (deliberately or inadvertently) and figure out what they are telling you back. Danielle will help you do that. She has done wonders for me in creating a strong foundation for me and my Corso and I intend to continue in her group classes as well as private consults going forward. Thanks Danielle!

I got scent training level 1 as a gift from a friend. The class size was small so we each got a lot of reps in per class. Danielle is obviously knowledgeable about dogs and dog training, and was able to pinpoint small aspects that I would've easily missed that really helped my dog feel comfortable and complete the task at hand. Jax (my dachshund) had a great time and picked up the training easily with Danielle's methods. I would definitely recommend, and will be returning for level 2. We both had a great time!

I would highly recommend Danielle and her training methods!!! I have been attending classes with Danielle for over 8yrs now and I love her upbeat training and her expertise. I have put my 3 border collies through puppy, beginner, intermediate and advanced training classes. I have also attended her scent detection classes and had a blast. If you need a GREAT trainer who will teach you how to train your dog and become an AWESOME leader, give Danielle a call..
