★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They always have an attendant at the entrance accounting for people inside they have wipes available etc at the entrance for anyone who would like some.
I usually go in to get cakes as they have a very good selection of la rocca and lindt cakes. I have tried them many times and the never disappoint.
They also do writing on the cakes if you ask.
If you download the app they have specials every now and then like for this week there is milk for 2.99/ when you scan your airmiles card.
Great layout easy to shop and mostly well stocked. The attendant at self checkout was super helpful and pleasant too bad i didnt get her name.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really like this metro location. It's close to my home, it's never super busy, the flower shop is lovely and the bakery has lots of yummy things. There is also a hot food counter which is really nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So disappointed in Metro's bakery. We ordered a custom cake for our daughter's birth but the cake looked nothing like the one we saw in the book. It looked like a cartoon version of the cake we wanted. The colours were off. The dots looked like something a two year old could have drawn better, the white shape in the middle looked like a scribble by someone who wanted to practice their drawing skills and the hand writing was so bad. The only saving grace was that at least it tasted good. We would never be ordering a custom cake from Metro again and would advise against it unless you want your special event ruined.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big store, lots of selection . Bakery, deli , fresh fish and seafood, Hot table, lots of pre-made single serve and family size meals, sandwiches and wraps. Sushi is also freshly made in store. A lot of shelf space designated to international grocery items. Fresh flowers, lotto, Tim Horton's, Wine Rack, all located in store. Magazines and a good selection of cards, Birthday, etc, gift bags, wrapping paper and bows. One stop shop for all your needs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their cakes and breads are so decadent. They carry so much flavour and nice textures. Their prices are best at market and fruits and veggies at this place is always good and fresh. Staff members are always kind and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just moved to this area and felt like I have to write a review for metro. Whenever I went to this place, the staff was always VERY KIND and helpful. I the gentleman at the cake section, ladies at the deli and seafood area, cashiers, and whomever I got to talk to was so helpful. I don’t know what the management does to keep the employees happy and engaged with the customer, but I just hope they keep doing it because it just feels so good to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their cakes are so decadent. They carry so much flavour and nice textures, with creative but classic designs. They truly are what they are named. The only thing is that the red velvet cheesecake was very sweet. Would contribute to buy cakes for celebrations at this location. They also have great fresh baked muffins and other pastries with desserts and breads.
