On our last day in Victoria, right before getting ready to leave, my SO and I decided to grab a quick bite to eat. She loves ramen so we decided to stop by Menbow and this place was actually stellar for its ramen.
The servings were generous and when we opted for double noodles, it was almost to the point we could not finish (which is big praise because I never leave my dish undone). The flavour of the broth was enjoyable and the quality of ingredients was nice. One negative was the pork in our bowls were tougher to chew of which with other ramen spots the pork usually is incredibly tender. Other than that, the ramen was well worth the price we paid.
One negative of experience was the service, servers were more like cashiers where as they just took order and dropped off order, did not check in on us. We were welcomed to the restaurant but upon paying, our server started to get more pushy and even tossed the debit machine towards my SO on our table, we don’t really appreciate that sort of thing but we looked past it as the food was quite good.
Overall, come and get your ramen fixing or just simply get a nice warm bowl to soothe your soul with the impending colder weather!

All ramen bowls come with BBQ Pork but can be substituted with Tofu ($0 extra) or Karaage ($3.50 extra).
There is a build your own ramen section as well that's a good option if you don't like some of the basics in every bowl.
Menbow Black Ramen with Karaage and chicken broth
Miso Ramen with Tofu with creamy pork broth
Would love to come back and try a few more bowls to try all the broth options!

Portion is big for me but worth it.
Not really special but good place.
First time try but after finish my meal, it made me curious about the other menus.
If I visit again victoria, I will try the other menus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolute must do!!! Great service and the food is incredible - our family favourite ❤ We have been twice so far, and prefer the broth style Ramen, the creamy option is beautiful but very rich.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Ramen was delicious. I fell in love with the mushrooms haha. The tofu and others blended perfectly with the entire dish. Worth a try for sure. The staffs are cool, friendly and knowledgeable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walked into Menbow Ramen Bar randomly for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and bright with a good layout making for a comfortable place to eat. The menu was simple and easy to order from. The ramen itself was delicious and just as good as anything we have in Vancouver. The broth was rich and flavorful, noodles had a great al dente chew to them, and the toppings were fresh and complimented and made the bowl whole. The ramen was nice and hot but my favorite part was the ice cold Asahi. Service was quick and staff were engaging and friendly; thank you Evelyn and co.!

Broth is tasty and above average. Noodles are fresh and great.
Other ingredients are good quality. Good portion.
Overall we enjoyed our experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute little place with delicious ramen. Good selection of options for style, taste, spiciness, broth, and all that other good stuff. Staff was really helpful with explaining your order so you got what you wanted depending on your preferences. That's a bonus for someone who doesn't eat ramen too much. Plenty of noodles too so don't order extra noodles unless you really want to eat a pound of noodles. NOODLES. Might want to book ahead because it's a small seating area and apparently very popular.
