B	Bongo Boy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have often visited by boat from Windsor to check in at customs and to start our North Channel explorations since 1978 .That's when the old shipping warehouse shack was used as the boaters "lounge" and customs had a tiny office there. We were tied up there when an elderly couple came into dock on a very windy late afternoon , with a 47 ft Hatteras motor yacht ( very high wind catching profile ) .We knew the marina staff had gone , so we ran out to help get the boat in safely .We did , with some serious quick effort .The boats name was "Spinning Wheel ". His name was Larry , she was Mary . They owned "Mary Maxim " company out of Port Huron ! We were anchored for the night many days later, part way into Baie Fine , a 17 ft boat roared up beside us and Larry said "get in " .He took us to Okeechobee Lodge at the entrance to the bay , treated us to dinner , and would not take anything .Nice people you can meet in the most crazy places !

Meldrum Bay is a beautiful spot but the Marina is by far the prettiest place to set up camp!! I had the best night ever and I know I'll never forget it because I got engaged there!! Can't wait to come back for a longer stay!
S	Serge Krieger on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The End of Road 540 at the west end of Manitoulin Island. A very pretty sight to behold. Drive our there when you have an opportunity and admire it for yourself. And do not worry about heavy traffic..

O	Owen Bout on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful views from an almost always breezy location. Not many sites available so if you're here during the busy summer season be sure to call ahead. Meldrum Bay is a hidden gem on Manitoulin Island, definitely worth the hike.

I cannot say enough good things about this campgrou d staff were extremely friendly camp sites were clean, many other great campers and the view, the view is amazing. Can't wait to come back!
