★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Going here is quite the experience. Of course you have everything a normal mall would have but it also has so many things you can do and see! It is also quite nicely decorated. Ice rink, theme park, water park, and so much more!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I came into MEC looking for Zero Drop running shoes. We were greeted by Jeremy, who encouraged us to take our time to look over the available options, then after a few minutes, offered to get let us try on numerous pairs.
Jeremy was extremely knowledgeable and introduced us to the foot sensor in addition to answering all our questions on the advantages and benefits of each brand and model we tried.
Overall, this was a far superior shopping experience than we have had at other outdoor sports specialty stores.
The care and attention we received from Jeremy felt like an experience at a high end clothier, a very pleasant and unexpected

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Doug H. Knows his stuff. We discussed bringing down the weight of a hiking pack and I realized how little I've been paying attention to my weights and that for similar prices I could have cut my pack weight by 20% at least.
With people like him working there I don't know why I shop other places sometimes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shout out to Jake and his peer who greeted us at the entrance (sorry I forgot to catch your name). I was visiting Edmonton with my 2 young kids when 1 of my stroller clips broke. I thought I was just going to MEC to get the part but Jake spent time and effort to help me fix the clip! It was definitely a lifesaver for me! Thanks again so much!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Megan was helping me with getting my first pair of climbing shoes and was very knowledgeable and patient as I figured out my sizing with the different brands and what would be best for my money. The shoes I got fit great and I am excited to climb with them!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One stop shop for all you outdoor recreational needs. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is well lit and clean. The ambiance is nice and it is open and airy. Good quality products but sometimes pricey. There are washroom facilities. I have shopped at the store for many years and have always enjoyed the experience. There is lots of parking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been to the bike shop here now a couple of times and they are always very friendly and knowledgeable. Evan helped me recently with my bike. I needed a new dropper cable and I had him look at my shifting issues as well. he fixed the problem and taught me that my bike has a clutch. I really appreciated the time he took to explain the small details to me.
