★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff were so helpful in enabling me to send a parcel to my grandson. One person helped me find the right size of socks, another the right dry sack and Sam helped me place the order so it would be shipped. I so appreciated their help.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I tried to bring my dog to check out some of the harnesses and jackets as well as pick up some items for me. I got there and there was a “no pets” sign on the door. We left and ordered what we needed from Amazon. I would have preferred to support MEC but to not allow pets into a store that sells pet items is ridiculous.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service and return policy. We drove 3 hours to this store and the staff were more than willing to let us test fit sleeping bags and were quite knowledgeable on what their store carries. Would definitely make the 3 hour drive again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This MEC location has the best staff. Every single time I go here the staff are welcoming, friendly, and helpful.
Forgive me for forgetting names. There is a very tall gentleman, who is usually working around the entrance. I think his name is Dave. He has always been so friendly and helpful for us. He even came outside to check out our brand new canoe as we stopped in on the way home from picking it up and we had a good chat!
There’s another guy who spent over 45 minutes with me, running back and forth to grab me pairs of climbing shoes to try on. He did not try to upsell me and was honest about what would most likely be best. He was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I forget his name but a big thanks goes out to him from the bottom of my heart. A good pair of climbing shoes that do the job and are comfortable are hard to find and dedicating time to try on multiple pairs is the key here. So I’m so glad to see that staff are willing to spend the time and have the patience with customers like that. and I can I genuinely say I love my climbing shoes.
Big thanks to all of the other employees as well, you are all amazing!
