McEown Avenue Dental Clinic - Saskatoon

Dr. Brendon Gryba was born and raised in Saskatoon Saskatchewan. After graduating from Bishop Mahoney High School, Brendon attended the University of Saskatchewan to study undergraduate biomedical sciences, and later completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2015. During his time in university, Brendon was a member of the Saskatoon Hilltops from 2008 until 2012, winning national championships in the years 2010, 2011, and 2012. He was also a member of the Huskie Canada West Track and Field team from 2008 until 2011. 

Brendon first started working at McEown Avenue Dental In 2014 for a temporary work placement. He became a regular at the practice in 2015 and was thrilled to be able to work with and learn from his father, Dr. Mark Gryba, eventually purchasing his practice in 2019. Outside of his practice at McEown, Brendon has spent time as a part time faculty member at the College of Dentistry in the discipline of Fixed Prosthodontics. Brendon has also spent lots of time doing outreach dental work in a community clinic in the core neighbourhood of Saskatoon. This experience has allowed him to gain further understanding into working with addictions, and a greater interest in the surgical aspect of dentistry. While focusing on an overall preventive and functional approach to dentistry, Brendon practices all aspects of dentistry with a greater interest in surgical extractions, laser dentistry, fixed prosthodontics, and clear aligner orthodontic therapy.

When not at work, Brendon likes to stay active and keeps busy travelling the world with his wife Kristen, and spending time at home relaxing with their young daughter Amelia and two dogs. Brendon maintains an active involvement in the sporting community as a Director for the Saskatoon Hilltops Football Club, as well as participating in recreation sports leagues such as touch and flag football, and senior men’s basketball. Dr. Gryba is the official dentist and oral health therapy sponsor for both the Saskatoon Hilltops Football Club and Saskatoon Minor Football. In the summer you can most commonly find Brendon spending time working in the yard or enjoying a round of golf!
