I always find a great deal at Giant Tiger. However, the older woman who was the cashier today at around 5:15pm was very rude. When I walked up and put my stuff on the counter I said hi to her and she didn't even acknowledge me. Through out the entire transaction she wouldn't even look at me. After she finished ringing my items through she asked if I was paying with cash, debit, or credit. If she would have acknowledged she would have seen that I was going to pay with either debit or credit as I was standing right in front of the debit machine with my bright red debit card out. She also aggressively scanned the plastic bar code card for the plastic bag charge and threw it on the counter as if she was angry for having to serve me. Then after I was done paying I said thank you and have a nice day and she still wouldn't acknowledge me or even look at me. Nice customer service.

Worst GT store in Saskatoon! I've heard multiple complaints, as well...why are these east side chain stores always so poorly managed? The other 2 locations put all marked down items in one location...easy to find making them quick to be gone and free up space for new and seasonal items. This location makes you hunt down everything marked down! Very frustrating! 2 stars is for the Giant Tiger chain, which is a store where great deals and value can be found and in an area with so many seniors, it is greatly needed! Get it together and I'll change my review to one more favorable.

I like shopping @GT for the great finds and deals, from bedding, curtins, towels, toys, clothing, groceries, cleaning supplies to recycled paint. My BIGGEST complaint is the unaccessible floor plan. I do not shop there as I used too. The entrance way is completely shut off from the exit: making it hard for disabled customers to get around. At least invest in a motorized cart if you expect customers to walk all the around the store to pay the women's $10 T you picked out at beginning of the maze. The layout is daunting for a person with mobility issues.

Friendly staff, never too busy. Hit and miss depending on what you're after. For grocerys and frozen food it's a go to place, for clothing and house hold. You don't know until you go there.

Of course I would forget to include Giant Tiger when doing my 5 star review of Market Mall ?! Sorry guys/gals. I absolutely LOVE Giant Tiger! I am not just saying this out of guilt either hahaha. I go to Giant Tiger pretty much everyday. Sometimes for my own personal shopping but mostly for people who live at the same place I do. (Elderly or disabled). So Giant Tiger has found its way into my everyday life and have become a family setting lol. I know most of their employees by name, and others I may not know their name but I will always exchange hellos'. Always something on sale there. If I am not paying attention they will often inform me of a sale. I am a VIP customer and get treated with more respect than I am worthy of lol. Thank you Giant Tiger if they had 6 or even 7 stars you would get them! ?????

I think this is a great store for the community. Affordable brand name products at reasonable prices, nice and close to their homes. I was so very happy when this store opened and I think it has been great for the mall and for the area. I try and buy something every time I am here just to support them and make sure they stay. Food, clothing and everything else, even kid toys!

It's an ok place to pick up clothes, food or anything your heart desires. Prices are decent and a bit lower than bigger market stores. We found a horse pillow for one of the grandchildren whose into horses at the time being. Told the other half if he doesn't want it I would take it , but guess what, he took it and sleeps with it. I guess he won this time..this time!!
