★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just made a purchase here and the sales rep was really friendly and helpful. The store itself was well managed with hand sanitizer, gloves, and quick wait times to get into the store. I had a nice chat with the sales rep and was able to get my product with a good price, warranty, and free extra battery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been to McBain Camera twice to get my films developed (regular colour films). The first time, it took around 11 days and the second time took even longer even though I was told they'd take around 3-5 days. Great quality pictures.

The administrative processing of my visa application was refused due to my invalid visa photo - taken and printed at McBain Camera 107 Ave. It does not meet the requirements. I showed them the consulate's rejection form. As advertised, they refunded me. But it will not change my bad experience there, my application delays, plans etc. I do not recommend this place for visa/passport photo. As I experienced, they do not take it very seriously.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently purchased a newly released lens from this store although I have no idea which one of their store shipped the item.
The order was placed five days before to Christmas. And it was delivered two days before it.
By the way, I live in Toronto and I am impressed.
The order was processed and shipped on the same day it was placed. Their inventory, order processing and shipping at a time like a holiday season is just outstanding.
My inquiries prior to the order were answered without delay.
With this experience I will strongly recommend this store.

Even when things go wrong the folks at McBain do everything they can to sort out the issue as quickly and thoroughly as possible. I can't recommend them enough. Great store, great people. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This week it was the last day of the SONY sale. IE Trade in and receive additional 200 off your Lens, which was my case. The "other guys" told me they were out and had no idea when they could order any more in. (valid) I went to Mcbains and they had 2 of the lenses that I needed. Even the International Store in TO did not have any of these lenses anymore! I was so relieved. I had the best friendly service today from Chelsea. I was also helped by a very knowledgeable Sales associate for my video needs!! I left a few Grand poorer, but happy in spirit!!! BONUS review: I received a 10 dollar more trade in value for my 12-24 lens from these guys than their competitor.
