Great views! We were lucky enough to have one of the larger campsites at the east side. Bring a boat/SUP to enjoy the surrounding bays. We spent days fishing off the pontoon in the sun. The outdoor tree shower is AMAZING! Such a relaxing place. Jack was very friendly and welcoming, explained all the details about recycling, water usage etc.

Camped here for two nights in August this year. Our campsite was private, well maintained, and overlooked the water (we saw seals and otters every day, along with the occasional eagle). Really enjoyed the tree shower (it has restricted use to conserve water on the island, but it’s clearly marked which days and times you can use, and the water is hot!), and this site had some of the cleanest/pleasant outhouses I’ve ever used. Quick walk from downtown so it’s easy to go get food. Overall this place is a big winner and I’ll definitely be back next season!

Had an amazing time at this quiet little campsite. They provide water, outhouses and a hot shower. It was quite private and perfect for tenting. There is a nice walking trail and two beautiful beaches. One thing to note is that there is a lot of ferry noise, but if you like watching the boats it's a great spot. We will definitely be back! Thank you Lois.

Beautiful place! The tree shower is amazing. Easy location for bike camping--only about a 20 minute ride from the ferry, and best of all, stores and a wonderful restaurant are only about a 5 minute ride away. Saw lots of eagles, and there was a large group of seals hanging out almost the whole time we were there. Nice that there is an outdoor sink to use, as well. The oceanfront location is gorgeous. I definitely hope to go back the next time I'm out west!

We did a four day cycling trip round the Gulf Islands, and I have to say, this was our favourite campground! Not only do they have amazing views and lovely campsites, there is a shower, clean facilities, sink to wash up in and a cute dog who welcomes you! It's near a grocery store, cafe and restaurant. It's also not too far from the ferry so cycling with our gear was fine! Highly recommend.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay in this place. The cottage is so clean, organize and smell sooo good! Everything you need is basically here, you don't need to bring much. We explored around the area and found a short trail and found a unique Tree house shower, a unique swing, and the smell of the forest and sea breeze was just so perfect. Thank you for the host, very kind and accommodating ...Definitely be coming back again..

I had a lovely five night stay at this charming private campground. My assigned site was a few minutes' walk from the parking area along forest trails, and very secluded and peaceful. I was visiting midweek when the campground was not fully occupied, which made for a perfect solo retreat as my closest neighbours were out of view (which wouldn't necessarily be the case at peak times, but most of the sites do have decent privacy between them). It was amazing to wake and fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean and I had such a relaxing time wandering the nearby trails, exploring the beaches, and watching the seals and otters play. Outhouses are rustic but well maintained. I especially appreciated the outdoor shower when available (count on restricted hours during the dry season) and a hot water sink for doing dishes. The location is also super convenient, and an easy walking distance to amenities if you need to restock groceries. I loved that I was able to hammock camp, and this seemed to be an option on many other sites as well. This was easily one of my best camping experiences so far, and I hope to visit again before too long!
