Aysar the owner is passionate and friendly. The tea is really good, different from the traditional one. There are many unique drinks with the owner’s touch!? We have enjoyed this a lot and it was the highlight of the day. Eugene and Aladeen.

The owner was very generous and gave us samples of organic matcha smoothies for tea tasting without us asking. All of them were very natural and unique. We ordered the warm Hojicha tea, Darjeeling+Rose and Matcha. They were very soothing and we got a huge pot of hot water to refill. We spent almost 2 hours there since the atmosphere was so calm and relaxing. This is a hidden gem in the city. The owner is super friendly and it is a tea shop that you should try when you’re in town.

What a gem! I just wanted a matcha latte and instead I got a tea tasting curated by the owner! @ Matcha is about as genuine and respectable as a small business can get. You can tell the owner truly has a passion for tea that he wants to share with everybody that comes in. Instead of that latte what I got was one of his bespoke matcha creations. They're all made fresh by him with things like homemade pumpkin seed milk, black sesame seeds, and bitter almond. We tasted all 6 he had available that day and each one was beautiful and unique. We ended up settling on the matcharetto: a matcha drink made with bitter almonds that tasted like amaretto or marzipan. It was creamy but also light and refreshing. Everything had that quality of tasting rich and decadent while at the same time feeling light and healthy. These are masterfully crafted beverages! The matcha concoctions come in either liter or half liter bottles that are returnable for a $2 deposit. We also bought some loose leaf tea to take home which was a custom blend that he had prepared cold brew style that was bright and extremely refreshing. I couldn't have been more delighted to have happened upon this place. Go visit at @ Matcha and experience the joy of tea that is at the center of this experience!

We absolutely loved our experience here. We found the place purely by chance and was warmly welcomed by the owner Nestor and his wonderful variety of teas and treats. The sesame soup is absolutely heavenly and the dates are fantastic. He is also extremely knowledgeable about China and Chinese culture and knows his Chinese poems.

Wow! Great experience!! Was looking for a comforting beverage on this raining fall evening. Ended up, very surprised by this little store. Owner was kind, laying out a tasting session and took the time to explain the Matcha origins. Products were biologic, fresh and affordable. Double thumbs up!
