Nice products but extremely poor communication - they outsource shipping to a 3rd party and charge high prices - I was charged $250 to deliver a 300 lb fountain within Toronto, and I was told that they would only leave it on my front lawn. There was only one driver and it's really unfair to put that on one person for so little compensation. If you are paying a premium because an object is heavy, in theory it should be because they are actually carrying that object for you. MG was not sympathetic at all - they took zero responsibility for the lack of clarity about the service/charges, and they weren't very helpful at arranging a solution, simply telling me "that's the way they do things" This is my second large purchase from this company and I wouldn't use them again. Several better patio and garden suppliers in the city that look after you with much better service.

Very cool store and very helpful staff. If yo need anything for your water feature, this is the place to go.

Buyer Beware This is the worst company that I have ever dealt with. They sent wrong unneeded items , yet was still charged a restocking fee to return. They threw in extension cords and PVC fittings in which I didn’t order and which was of no use and was still charged for them. I got items missing essential pieces and was told I had to pay additional shipping to get the missing pieces they forgot to add because it is considered a new order. Quote price was increased just before purchase. I Tried to cancel order but with the forced 30% loss it seemed better to keep it rather than losing $1045.62. After spending almost $3500 on a pond kit, they sold me a pond-less waterfall. Free shipping is advertised but does not exist. I was forced to pick it up or be charged shipping. Don’t be fooled by what the website says. Chris (in management) just told me what I wanted to hear so he could make the deal. This guy is a joke. Pond liner size calculation was wrong. Not possible to return. Chris told me that every employee has their own opinion on liner size and calculation. They said a kit could be pieced together to save money. Yet have spent more on this incomplete kit than buying a complete kit from a reputable business. Don’t waste your time with these amateurs. Management only cares about the money , not about customer service. You will have to pay for their mistakes. Every employee has a different opinion on pond setup and this so called pond store is the only one that doesn’t understand that a pond with fish needs filtration. There is a lot of competition out there. Don’t waste your time with this company. Even Amazon is a much better option & has quick FREE shipping on most things they carry with no questions asked on returns. They don’t deserve a one star rating. It’s very obvious that ponds are not their specialty. This company has no foresight. Any other pond store is better. Steer clear & save your hard earned money and use it at a reputable company that treats customers well. They will post that they are willing to help, but they are not. That is just for show.

We've recently completed our pond in our backyard with the help of Marquis Gardens knowledgeable staff. From our many visits this summer, we always experienced great customer service and staff was very patient in explaining all equipment required to complete the pond. They offer a lot of options for all sizes of ponds and landscaping accessories to beautify your new oasis. Highly recommend Marquis!

Extremely knowledgeable and friendly, David ensured we had everything we needed even so much so that he ran out to our car as we were departing with a bag of extra parts. Highly dependable and trustworthy! Amazing.

My wife has wanted a dry river bed since we moved to Wasaga Beach eight years ago. I have always wanted a fountain and stream in our backyard. We looked into having it done professionally at a cost of $22,000 to have what we wanted, which we could not afford. Fortunately, a friend recommended that we go to the Marquis Gardens showroom. So glad we did, because Eric advised us how to go about it and sold us what we needed for under $1000. The only additional cost would be the river rocks and a pond liner. If at seventy eight years old, my wife and I could build the fountain and forty five foot stream pictured below….anyone can. Thanks to Marquis Gardens we have a self contained constant stream that has four different drops, making beautiful music every day.

I’ve had a very good experience with this store. Being new to water features, I was guided pretty much all the way through my vision/project. Anytime I had a question , it was answered fast and product recommendations. A walk through the store is eye candy for the pond/water feature enthusiast. Well done guys. I’m sure I’ll most likely be expanding throughout the years. ?
