★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor maintenance, some good fitness classes.
I've been going to this location for a couple of years now. One thing that defines it is that there is always a significant portion of equipment out of service, about 1/3 of showers either don't work or out of conditioner / soap. Some of the classes are great - I recommend Body Pump with Lena on Monday/Friday at 12. Staff are friendly and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This isn't just a gym. It's the church of iron. May the Swoly Gains God bless you all with gains, pumps, strength, the ability to eat everything in sight without getting fat, and more. Also, it's a compact GoodLife with everything you need. No need to walk miles between machines like some other Goodlifes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Management is a complete joke, some nice employees minus a super weird guy named “fatty” that will come into the change room just to watch you change. The guy has some issues and a few people have complained but once again the customers here don’t matter. Don’t waste your time coming to this location. A lot of better gyms in the area that won’t overcharge you. Taking advantage of members during a pandemic charging you the same price for a membership that you have to put 10x the effort just to get maybe 2-3 workouts a week max. Sad corporation with a lot of pathetic subordinates working for them. Even LA fitness makes this Goodlife look like a gym for masochists.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the better GoodLife locations I've been to. A very up to date and comfortable and clean change area. Surprisingly, it turns out that good life can install adequate lockers. Lockers in many other locations are either to narrow or too short, or both. Here, the lockers are actually wide enough to fit a bag in. More machines in the weight area would be nice, but this is a pretty small gym so not sure where that will go.
Good working dry sauna.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been coming to Goodlife for years and sadly like any other corporation it now over charges and does the least amount possible to maintain their facilities.
On a positive note I've known the morning staff here for a number of years and they do an excellent job. No issues with cleanliness as there is usually someone wiping down and putting equipment away.
Having said that it has now been over a week and their dry sauna is still out of commission as apparently there is a hanging light in the sauna and maintenance has not been at this location for over a week.
One of their water fountains near the change rooms is out of order and hanging off the wall.
Goodlife has been given over 300 million Canadian tax payer dollars and their locations are not being maintained. With so much competition and other options out there why is Goodlife acting like they're the inky option for people to choose from when there are numerous other options within a 1km circumference.
Companies forget all too quickly that there is no
'them' if there are no customers as they migrate to other fitness locations that maintain their equipment customers are paying for.
Let's see how Ling these 2 matters take to get fixed at this location.
