★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Curious why the high rating, but wow, the food was phenomenal! I was super satisfied. There are so many different ones to choose from, but I'm glad the owner mentioned roasted pork. I do recommend trying Turkish coffee, I was reluctant to have it but was happy I did.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looking for a delicious home cooked style meal with many healthy options? Or have dietary restrictions that require that extra level of care in your meal? Marko's Kitchen has something for everyone with a healthy spin on some classics. We tried the stuffed pepper entree, the chicken cordon and burger.. all very delicious and left us feeling full, but comfortable. The service was excellent and the ambiance in the restaurant very cozy. We will definitely be coming back when in Calgary.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What can I say about this place that hasn’t already been said? I absolutely LOVE it here. It was our first time coming in today and it will now be a regular stop in our restaurant rotation. The food is lovingly prepared with whole ingredients and no additives. Plenty of gluten free and low carb options if that’s your thing. We ordered the chicken cordon bleu which was so so good. The oozing cheese centre was decadent without being greasy and clumpy as I’ve found other places. We also had the burek which is seriously worth a trip in and of itself. But what makes Marko’s extra special isn’t just the home cooked style food, but the absolute pleasure and joy with which it’s prepared and served. You can feel this food is made with love and that every plate is a tribute to Marko, the owners son, a son who by the way, took the time to greet each table with a handshake. What a magical little spot to stop and have a bite. It feels like home here and we will be back again and again and again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious food and amazing service! Owner is super friendly. The food variety is big, very healthy, GF and vegan options. Owner said it's possible to meet a lot of food restrictions. I had smoked pepper, was delicious!!!

So welcoming and friendly and a family based restaurant. Next time I’m in Calgary, this will definitely be my first stop. Thanks for such a great lunch!!!☺️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lunch at @markoskitchen_yyc was amazing. They specialize in low carb, allergen friendly cooking and I was impressed. Items can be sugar free GF, DF, Vegan and low carb. Locally sourced ingredients with a homemade comfort touch ?
Also, try the cakes and baklava.... I'm already regretting not buying more to bring home ?
The owner was beyond delightful as well. You feel like family immediately.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very impressed with the food and the service. Family owned and operated, a sister of Marko sat us at our table and shared the story behind their restaurant. Love their philosophy about providing many dietary substitutions to meet the everyone’s specific needs. The food was homemade and hearty. Reasonably priced. You can tell lots of love goes into their dishes. Ordered Marko’s Rolls as an appetizer, cabbage rolls, and goulash. Overall a really pleasant experience and I can’t wait to go back and support them by enjoying their food.
