★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been going to Markham Martial Arts since March 2020–when you walk into this gym you are welcomed into a warm and vibrant community with people of different skill sets. Kru Chris and Coach Mel are the real deal. Their commitment to building experience, skill, technique, and fitness in their members is unlike anything I’ve seen. The fact that they are still on top despite all the barriers for a small business to thrive during a pandemic speaks to the genuine value people get from training here. They offer HIIT training, Muay Thai and Kickboxing. I’ve learned so much since coming here and leave feeling great each time and thats all thanks to Kru Chris, Coach Mel and all the great people training here. Do yourself a favour and check this place out!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Markham Martial Art is a great place if you would like to learn comprehensive and high standards of Muay Thai techniques. In addition to Muay Thai , boxing and kick boxing skill , you can also learn the spirit of Martial Art here.
Students are so nice, keen to learn and share their knowledge with new joiners to the gym. The coaches here are experienced, professional and supportive. They have strong Martial Art background, skills and experiences to ensure our students find the best fit training plan to reach their goals. Environment is clean and coaches often share their diet plan in a scientific manner. Overall, it’s a great gym and highly recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm an absolute beginner and after searching online, about 1 month ago decided to join this awesome club which I believe was an excellent decision. All 3 coaches that I have, are amazing. They care about your skills, techniques and movements. Moreover, they are really friendly and you feel it like a family. If you have a kid, I've seen how well they treat with kids not only in martial arts training but also giving them confidence, respecting them and motivate them about their eating habits. I absolutely recommend it.

There are a variety of classes to choose from, and there is emphasis placed on the thorough understanding of the training being taught. Highly recommend this gym to both beginners and intermediate level students practicing Muay Thai.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time I walked through the door, I was greeted in a very friendly manner from Coach Mel. She got me comfortable being there for the first time. After the first class I signed up for 1-1 with Coach Philips and from there my Muay Thai Journey started. He’s a great coach, he adapted his training with me to help me improve my weak points and kept drilling the basics. Both Coach Philips and Coach Chris are kind and also push you to do better every class. They share their fighting wisdom and spirit.
