J	Jan N on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my first time trying this place and I had high hopes considering I paid 100+ for the service, but I was terribly wrong. I was literally there from open to close (7hours) and expected better results for a cut and colour. I dont blame the student because she was doing her best, but the communication between student and instructor was like non exist. Student told instructor one thing and instructor guided them differently. I showed I want this length as the longest and they cut it at the shortest. Thankfully my hair grows pretty fast, but I cant imagine someone else risking their hair and not getting the length the want. Also they convinced me to do a "money piece" which was supposed to frame my face in the front but after it was done I noticed it was no where near the front. The colour didnt end up being how I wanted or the cut. For the level of service and experience, way overpriced. Was a waste of time and money, never again. AVOIDDD.

I had virgin hair looking for highlights and I was really nervous about going to Marca. Once I got there the receptionist was busy but managed everything so well and and on top was so super friendly. She was honestly sweet. She assured me that I was in good hands. I was greeted by a student named Karen - she guided me to my chair and began the consultation immediately. She then excused her self and she went to go get the educator to confirm and approve the service. I was so impressed as to how the educator was talking to the student - she was young with red hair and and shared step by step knowledge of what was going to be done! The student answered everything correctly and off we went ! I was super relaxed and comfortable. The student worked quickly and efficiently and kept up with conversation ! I honestly didn’t come in with high standards - but the overall result was even better than what I imagined! I Totally would recommend this place to anyone who wants great service to check out this fun and yet professional atmosphere!

I got highlights with Kristina the first time and highlights and a haircut with Meskerem and they were both amazing and delivered on exactly what I wanted! Also, if Karen is supervising then you know you’ll be looked after by the best!! This is my staple go to now

She is the heartbeat of this college cum salon. For me customer service and behaviour is the most important thing. And this is what I got here. Just love the way karen treats people let it be clients or students and same way students follow, treating people right and respectful. When it comes to the quality of work- no one can match it, not even a high end salon. That is why I am back for my hair color- ombré and soon I am going to share the pic of my gorgeous hair ☺️

My stylist Juliana was super friendly and she made me feel super comfortable and happy with my hair. Juliana got rid of all the orange residues from the box dyes I had on my hair. She did an amazing job styling and cutting my hair and I left with natural caramel highlights. Overall, loved the ambiance and super friendly staff.
