About Manitoulin Island-wide Tourism Information Centre
We welcome any person or organization that has an interest in advancing Indigenous Tourism in Ontario to become a member of Indigenous Tourism Ontario (ITO).
Members have the opportunity to participate in ITO marketing, sales, and business development programs. Members who are ready to host visitors and are at least 51% indigenous owned will have the option be listed on ITO’s and partner websites. They may also be featured on the Ontario Authentic Indigenous Moments if they meet the criteria.

Shelba spent alot of time with me during a quiet time to explain all the new and exciting things going on Manitoulin...I had no idea there was SO much to do here!

Truly enjoyed the weekend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly and knowledgeable staff. There is great information about different local events and tourist attractions to see while you are visiting the Island. The displays were informative and there were handouts.
At night the road sign is way too bright and definitely a hazard - a night dimmer would be great.
Below the MTA there is a fairly well equipped gym with lots of free weights, machines, and cardio equipment. There is a shower and not normally staffed.
