★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only drawbacks - there is no access to canadian mobile service within the park - only US, which is frustrating when you are trying to keep an eye on the weather forecast - and the shower facilities are lacking hooks and/or benches which make juggling soaps, clean clothes etc a challenge. Otherwise, clean quiet, well maintained park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful camp ground! Flush toilets and coin operated showers. Generous size sites, surrounded by trees and bush, makes it feel like your own oasis.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived to find that the potable water had a sign that it was not quite potable. A more detailed explanation of this, as well as the best alternative source of water was not found until I used the washroom later on (would have been great information to provide and the dump/fill station). Also we we're on a "30 amp" site. It seems the campground couldn't actually provide that amperage as our AC consistently flipped the breaker (a problem we haven't had before or since, even at 15A sites in other campgrounds, and this one wasn't at capacity during our stay) Very annoying to pay for a service that can't be provided.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing little spot. Tucked away in the corner of the province this campground seems to run at a slower oace than say Big Whiteshell. The hiking trails are amazing, didn't have time to explore them all. The beach is very nice but because it is in a closed when off bay there is significant plant and algae growth. Still nice for a swin but it is a little squishy on the feet. However being closed off it is very safe for children. Nice picnic areas and play structures.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful wide trails. A decent amount of variety with the trails and options. The beach is the only subpar part of this park. But, you can get to a nicer beach about 15mins away. The campsites are nicely maintained and the entry is all paved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Peaceful getaway for the family! We had a electrical site which was well maintained, the washrooms and showers clean. It was a nice surprise to not have to pay for the firewood. Make sure you bring coins to purchase your shower time! The beach was decent with the exception for the number of leaches in the water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This campground was beautiful and full of bird song. Most of the sites there were very private and well-maintained. If you plan on camping in that area I would definitely suggest bringing a canoe or your preferred watercraft as there is plenty of lakes and scenic views to enjoy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful campground. Nice trails for hiking or biking (a bit hilly), nice beach and playgrounds, nice kayaking (fairly shallow lake). We had a great time up here.
