Beautiful park. Nice sites. However they allow generators, totally takes away from the peace of nature.

Very scenic park. Nature trail is a challenging hike. Trees in campground make it tight for trailers but had a great time on Sept long weekend!

Nice campground with a remote and woodsy feeling. The staff were great; we had a flat tire and Scott went above and beyond to help us solve our problem. We only got out of there thanks to him!

We decided last minute we wanted to go camping for the long weekend. We stopped at few different places but ended up at Caliper and I could not be happier about it. Not only did we get a great secluded spot, the park was clean and everyone was respectful of each other. Not to meant the staff (especially Scott) was amazing! Went above and beyond for everyone. I will definitely be back!

The Caliper Lake Campground far exceeded my expectations. I'd never reserved a campsite in another country before- but booking was very easy online. We arrived late, and the camp staff had marked our site as reserved- which was much appreciated as the grounds were very full over Labor Day Weekend. There are vault style outhouses very close to every campsite, and many of them have running water sinks to wash your hands afterwords. If outhouses aren't your thing, there is a centrally located flushing toilet facility near the boat dock, and a comfort station with flushing toilets and free showers near the beach. There are water taps located through out the campsite, so you're never have to go far to fill up. The campsite and fire rings are clean and well tended to. The road through the campgrounds is well maintained. The campground is laid out to offer lots of privacy for drive-up camping spots. A caged trash drop off keeps the Campground clean and pest free. At night, you hear the soft lapping of the lake, and the happy sounds of other campers laughing and singing. There were no rowdy groups- and in the morning the still lake was quietly paddled by many kayakers. We went here because it was far from city lights and we wanted to use our telescope to see some dim deep space objects. The thick trees that surround each campsite made that difficult, but the lovely experience of camping in Ontario kept us from being too disappointed.

Beautiful campground. Came in August so the water had lots of algae. Would come earlier in the season.

Beautiful camping. Got profiled as trouble by the rangers because my wife and I were on motorcycle's. Ranger told me to turn off music that was low enough we could hear them walking up. However the site across the road party till 2 in the morning...nothing was said. Rangers walked passed. Not motorcycle friendly.
