★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visiting from Lower Mainland. Went to Macy’s place for fish and chips.
Ordered the cod and chips, cheeseburger, poutine, and fish tacos. Everything was very tasty. I especially liked the fish tacos, which were loaded and flavourful. The coleslaw was really good and I wish I had a bigger portion of it. The poutine uses cheddar cheese instead of cheese curds but still delicious. Would come back again next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hole in a cargo container. Shrimp tacos were loaded with delicious large shrimp and coleslaw. Fish was nicely seasoned and battered and the fries were large and crispy. The portions were quite large and money well spent. Hopefully they add a covered eating area, because it rained everyday that we were there. I will come back here if I'm ever in Port Hardy...maybe one day.

Ordered the two piece Halibut but ended up with one piece of each, so that was a happy accident! Delicious fresh fish and chips with smiley, friendly service. What more do you need? I'm looking forward to going back again soon.
