★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eaten here about ten times now since moving to Port Hardy, 6 months ago. Easily the top restaurant in town. They have a split menu that offers set options as well as a rotating menu of specials. Their small but diverse menu is executed veryy well. Some recommendations would be a ceasar salad or fried pickles as a starter.. the prime rib special on Friday/Saturday, the Southern Fried Chicken burger, or a pizza of your choice as an entrée.. and cheese cake for desert.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the seafood chowder. A let down from the one I had the day before. It was OK. I asked for a cup and bread, then changed to a bowl without bread. Got the bread anyway. It was grilled nicely. Upcharge of $2.00. Also had the wild mushroom pappardelle. It was quite good. Basically a mushroom sauce over broad noodles. Lots of mushrooms.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice atmosphere at Sportys during the day it's a family restaurant and in the evening it has a tasteful pub feel. Food was really good and the service was fantastic every time I've been there. Good staff that hustle. Quite busy at times seems to be very popular. Nice ocean view on the road side.
