About Ricky's Family Restaurants - Cochrane
From our humble origins as breakfast experts – to today’s menu with dozens of modern dishes for any time of the day, Ricky’s is a place where everyone feels at home.
Ricky’s opened its doors in Vancouver in 1962 as Ricky’s Pancake House, famous for buttermilk pancakes, value breakfast specials, and the very best service. Ricky’s expanded in the 1980s to include full lunch and dinner. As well, in 2014, Ricky’s acquired ABC Country Restaurants, a chain that had delivered great country fare for over 40 years. This merge brought together two great brands, both with a rich history of delivering exceptional food and service to Canadian families.
In 2017, the Ricky’s brand further expanded with the launch of Ricky’s Café, a new contemporary café concept with an express burger and sandwich bar and gourmet home meal takeout service. All while still serving the famous breakfasts and high quality lunch and dinner items Ricky’s is known for.
With ongoing expansion, including new locations opening in Alberta and BC, Ricky’s has 85+ locations across Canada to serve you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The people here are friendly and it's an interesting place as its two restaurants in one. We had the fish and chips take out, a tad expensive but was reasonable and was very good! Fish and chips are usually about 17-18 for two pieces so they are in the range. Had a nice tasty thin batter..fries are good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All around great service that was very much appreciated. That was complimentary of the food that was prepared and served! I had no idea what "chaffles" were until I had some this morning. I will definitely order this meal again and again! Overall I would highly recommend this meal as well as this restaurant to anybody. Kudos to the Chef as well as our waiter Tristan!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the waffle big breakfast. The bacon and sausage were cold. I was told the water they are sitting in wasn’t working right. Bacon and sausage were both terrible. Bacon was so cold and flimsy it may as well be raw. $50 later and was the worst breakfast I’ve ever had. Won’t be returning to Ricky’s.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was tasty expect the portions for a price are a joke. Ordered a breakfast bowl and got maybe a 1/2 cup of potatoes. Had more tomato and bacon than potatoes.
The one cook wasn’t wearing a mask at all and didn’t seem to know hang hygiene. The one thing with an open kitchen, everyone can see you.

A really great hidden gem in Cochrane and the staff are amazingly friendly. Haven’t tried their lunch or dinner options but all look tasty..
Totally recommend visiting Ricky’s Cochrane.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SOOO GOOD! And what a face-lift to, loving this Famoso-Ricky's cross over.
For my first visit I had the Grand Forks Breakfast, lots of food forsure. So come have breakfast if you're hungry. Food was reasonable for what you got, and location is close to downtown.
I've had the Famoso pizza at other locations, super good then, so I'm sure it will be just as good here. But I like how I can order from two different menus.
All in all, very happy with my first visit, atmosphere was more like the typical Famoso, not like Ricky's which I love.
They also have specialty coffees, and beer from my favorite Half Hitch Brewery, VERY COOL!
Staff are awesome, great place to relax and eat!
