An Edmonton boys' dream turned reality. Roger Newton purchased an old pool hall in the west end of Edmonton, with a clear vision of what was missing from the city of champions. There were Irish Bars, English Pubs, and even Belgian Cafes, but there was nothing that truly honoured the rich heritage of Canada. Combine that with his love of Sports, Roger opened the first ever Canadiana Sports Bar in West Edmonton, The Canadian Brewhouse. This location has since closed, but it was the start of a service industry giant.

T	Todd Peterson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trainwreck! Only giving one star as zero is not an option. Stopped for lunch today at 1130, a few tables occupied but no where near full as they only opened at 11. Ordered the fried cauliflower appetizer. The portion was ridiculously small for $17 and the Buffalo dipping sauce was one degree from frozen. If our waitress actually came by we might have mentioned it, but that didn't happen. We ordered 2x burgers and fries as mains, the most basic entree for any pub. It took FOREVER, like close to an hour. Many around us who arrived later were served first. To boot, our burgers didn't come as we ordered them, but it was just a random other waitress who dropped them in front of us and disappeared. No sign of our waitress and we were running out of time, so only choice was to disassemble the burgers ourselves and make the best of it. And the burgers were literally soaked in grease, almost like someone poured deep fryer oil on them, a mess. By the time the waitress came by again my whole meal was done, we didn't have another hour to get it fixed anyway. A half cooked, under portioned appetizer and two incorrectly made burgers cost $80. Never again.

The patio is one of the better set up ones and the staff and waitresses are so considerate it's a great patio experience! It's good food. Good time.
D	Deb H on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We didn't have the chance to eat here. Got there at 7:45pm with family I was visiting and was told by the hostess that we would have to be out by 9pm with our kids. It was very loud so we knew we wouldn't be able to have any conversations and decided to go elsewhere. Looked like a cool bar style restaurant and I heard there menu was reasonably priced. Hopefully next time I visit Alberta we can check this place out.

She was very attentive and good-natured. She let us know of the weekly specials and featured menu and made some recommendations. She was running multiple sections and didn't fail to ensure we were happy. Efficient, happy and polite service.
