★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took an evening tour and was amazed by the variety of wildlife we encountered. We took the shorter 3 hour wildlife viewing tour and saw numerous humpback whales, sea lions, sea otters and porpoises. Amazing! The tour exceeded my expectations, both in service and experience.

Hi Andrew,
Thank you for taking the time to respond. There must have been a huge misunderstanding as we when we went to the Visitor Centre in town, we specifically asked for whale watching tours and that’s when the front desk person called your organization and then sent us over.
From my understanding, we did sign up for a shorter tour but we would not have signed up for a sea otter viewing trip if we knew that's what it was as it was never our intention and we were not aware there were two different tours offered. It is unfortunate that we have misinterpreted this trip and that I was disappointed by it. We shall make sure to clarify next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tour was amazing! I was on the evening tour and the tour operator was very informative and professional. I have visited the North Island for many years but I have never been out on the waters for such a tour. I learned a lot from our guide and he was very attentive to all of us on the tour making sure we felt safe and well. We saw lots of wildlife and beautiful scenery. Definitely a must for guests to Port Hardy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The office staff was very helpful, even giving suggestions for my time in Alert Bay and Port McNeill. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and ensured we had a great outing. I booked my trip on a whim and it was one of the best decisions of my vacation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did a evening wildlife tour with 4 kids ages 6 to 14, the weather was very bad, the sea was very windy and wavy. We saw sea otters and one whale, from very far, but the weather was so bad that we couldn't really enjoy the tour. Moreover the quality of the guidance was low. I think that the company should improve the guidance quality and to give the option to postpone the tour in a case of a bad weather. Day after we did a tour in Telegraph Cove that was much more successful and enjoyable. We did a Grizzly tour and saw much more whales than in the whale watching tour....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an unbelievable tour with Andrew! We were so fortunate to see a few whales breaching and all the animals we had seen along the way were just amazing! Andrew and his team run these tours incredibly and his genuine love for these tours makes it all the better! I would definitely recommend this tour if your looking for a more detailed and personal adventure.
