★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Haven't been to a concert in Mac Hall in 30 years. I remember it was on the second or third floor. The improved version of Mac Hall is spectacular. Plenty of room to stand and sit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to watch a show. The all ages setup is fantastic. It provides a great opportunity to take your kids to see some really great acts. The venue is a perfect size. It is conveniently located at the University of Calgary along the C-Train line.
Beer garden at the back for folks that want a beverage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are better concert venues for sure. Their beer gardens are cash only (which you find out after you wait in line to get in), and the acoustics are not great. Definitely not my preferred choice to see a concert.

Parking underground is exorbitant. Be forewarned.
The venue itself is rudimentary. The sound tech set up at center venue has a mauldlin number of hanging wires, which are distracting.
I remember my uni days and lemme tell you about that nostalgia nugget.
Well organized at the venue, sped through security and so on.
Cleopatrick (unbeknownst to me until Royal Blood came on) did not make the show. Thanks late season snowstorms! I was disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely wonderful safe place to have a concert the acoustics are pretty good not the best but absolutely very good. We saw a royal blood there and they did a fantastic job the sound was getting better as the songs went on as they tweaked the audio to the acoustics of the venue.
