I just purchased my second set of Luxy Hair Extensions as the color of my hair has changed and I am just as in love with them as I was with the first pair. I ordered them in Ash Brown, the color perfectly matches my current hair color. I ordered the 160g this time which I was nervous about as my hair is very fine but they blend perfectly and the clips do not show in my hair either. I am so in love and will never buy from another extension company again - Luxy Hair for life!

This company is a complete joke. Please do not waste your time and money on them. Their products are sub par (that is if the don't arrive broken). Their pony and bun pieces don't even have actual clips for attach to your hair. The pieces slide and fall out and have velcro that gets stuck to your own head which is painfully to remove. Additionally, the curls fell within an hour! Their customer service team is not helpful, they don't care if there is a problem they simply blame you for not using the pieces right (I have been wearing extensions for over 10 years). I cannot express my disapointment enough. Huge waste of money and time

This hair has been so processed and is not Remy meaning the the hair cuticles do not run in the same direction and this cause severe tanging. Once the silicone washes off the hair is completely unmanageable which is about 4 washes. Absolutely terrible hair and waste of money.

EDIT: I originally gave this a 2 star review because of the hassle it took to Get them. But I finally received them and oh my word. These are the best extensions I have ever ordered! If you have fine thin hair the seamless extensions are PERFECTION. Barely there, lightweight and so soft and shiny. I have never been able to wear extensions without using a curling iron to blend into my hair and this is just a seamless look with my natural hair even straight. I will say that if you have thicker hair the texture of these may not be right for you. They are a good match for fine hair. I take back what I said about not purchasing from Luxy again. I will only be purchasing this brand and will consider the time it takes to recieve them next purchase ***** I googled Canadian hair extensions and found Luxy. I had already heard about them so was excited to purchase from them and in my city no less! Turns out they ship from the US And after waiting almost a month I also have to pay $50 in duties. I haven’t received the product yet because the duty needed to be paid and I have a community mailbox. When I called the delivery notice parcel pick up location they hadn’t received it yet... I now have to travel across the city to the location; if they even have it yet ) I suppose this isn’t a complaint about Luxy so much as the experience. I will likely not purchase from them again due to the hassle involved. I simply wanted to support local. Transparency: THEY ARE NOT A CANADIAN DISTRIBUTOR.

I can't say anything about the quality of the hair extensions as I have YET to receive them. I was a bit hesitant ordering hair extensions online, however, I ordered my Luxy hair extensions in mid-November. I paid express shipping (an additional $30) to have them here for early December to prepare for Christmas party season. I thought I gave myself ample time to receive them as I understand things can be delayed. However, I have yet to receive my package. The team reached out to notify me that my package would likely be delayed after the package should have arrived. Since, I have been back and forth with the Luxy team, DHL, and another service Route since. I was notified that my package was likely being held by customs. However, not given clear instructions on how to retrieve my package (I received a link to the government of Canada website...) Moreover, they're not even sure if it is there. As a result, I have asked if expedited shipping costs can be refunded. However, they have made it clear that it's not their jurisdiction. I have never had so many back-and-forth with an online retailer with no resolution... Deeply disappointing. UPDATE: I just wanted to follow up that it turns out that DHL never received the items from Luxy... LOL. What an absolute waste of time. Instead of sending me an email to apologize for the delay they should have looked into their own records to even see if the product was even dispatched. I originally asked for a refund on the express shipping before learning this, and I was sent a copy of their shipping policies. They continued to advise me that it was likely on the end of the shipper. Once I followed up with DHL, and learned this information they did offer to ship a new set of extensions. However, clearly they didn't need my business. I just wish their dispatching team was as prompt and proactive as their social media manager/public relations team in response to a negative review... CANADIAN PURCHASERS BEWARE: despite what Google Maps says they do NOT ship from Toronto. Be prepared to pay duties.

Rating is based on customer experience as product was NEVER received. Based on the reviews below, this is a common issue with Luxy. I thought I had read enough reviews that I'd at least try out the product, but that isn't possible since it never shipped. I placed my order in early April and I reached out to Customer Service today via chat for an ETA. The response I received was "since the status hasn't been updated, it's been deemed lost" and they offered either a refund or a replacement set. I originally asked for a replacement set, but that Luxy cover the charge to ship via DHL and customs fees (shipping to Canada). The rep said that they could cover the DHL cost ($25), but then decided to quote their standard policy on the customs fees (aka "no, we don't cover it"). So I asked again if they could cover the custom fee since it'd be about $100 and again the rep said no and offered an additional $10 refund. Not usually one to be a stickler about this, but a 2 week delay with no communication from the company and a measly $35 credit (from a multi-million $$ company) shows that they don't care about the end user. Reading over their shipping policies, they're clearly trying to cover themselves so that they can do the bare minimum for their customers. All of this back and forth with their custom service team is definitely not worth trying out this product.

It is so frustrating to me how places can sell and claim that their hair is good quality, when it’s only good for the first month of wearing them. I have bought two pairs of the Luxy clip in 20 inch extensions. One in December and one in March. The first one that I purchased in December, I spent around $400 including the price of the extensions, shipping and duty fees as I live in canada. The hair was good up until I went outside of my house and the hair became so brittle and thin to the point that when I tried to brush it out clumps of hair would come out. I used Olaplex deep conditioning hair treatments, I tried everything. They were absolutely ruined, after less than 2 weeks of wearing them. Disgusting. As for the second pair I waited for the weather to not get so cold since it matters what weather someone chooses to wear their Luxy hair extensions in….. and instead of spending $400. I spent $500 since the duty fees to receive the package were $120 CAD. I’m aware this isn’t their fault. But it was not a good start to my repurchase. Anyways, after the first pair I had emailed the company and telling them my situation to see if there was anyway I could improve or fix them. They told me everything I was doing was wrong, which is very surprising since this is not my first pair of real hair extensions. I’ve had real hair extensions for the past 3 1/2 years. Anyways I try to be optimistic and try their ways of taking care of the hair, and the same thing happened. It is now the beginning of May and my hair extensions are dry, brittle, thin, and unwearable, and the colour has actually faded significantly. And I’ve only washed them once since that’s what their company said to do (wash every 30 wears), I received them in mid March. Absolutely AWFUL hair extensions, waste of my time and money. I’m not the type to write a review. This is actually my first. I believe companies can make mistakes since we are all human. But twice?? And I’m being told what I’m doing is wrong, when according to any professional hairstylist agrees with me. I needed to inform people that I have never been so disappointed in my life with a company. ESPECIALLY since they claim such amazing things and charge high prices. Not helpful staff and bad product. I hate to say it but if I could give this less than 1 star I would.

At first I loved the extensions but having a lot of knowledge about extensions after my second time wearing them my opinion changed because of knotting/tangles. Example, high quality extensions are single strand meaning every individual strand is only 1 stand of hair. With these extensions I found a bunch of knots in a lot of strands which is 2 stands of hair tied together to make one long strand, which causes breakage, knotting and tangling 10x faster than single stand of hair. On a hair stand, One looked under a microscope the outside layer of the hair looks like shingles on a roof going downwards and when 2 different strand are tied together you don’t know if the β€œshingles” we’ll call them, are facing up or down causing knotting tangles etc. For over 400 dollars I expect high quality rightfully so and this is not what I expected. Also found synthetic hair on my extensions (plastic)
