Lived here for the past 2 years. I arrived as an international student at McGill, for which the location is excellent (4 min walk to the Faculty of Management), as well as convenient for running into other students. They're used to receiving international students so they're perfectly equipped to process your application with flexibility for people without a Canadian credit record. The facilities are comprehensive, with an indoor depanneur/grocery store that opens late (varying hours because of Covid, but it used to open til midnight on weeknights), indoor gym, laundry room, meeting and conference room, backyard patio with barbecue grill.

Great location in the downtown area of Montreal, ideal for any students attending McGill. The staff are truly wonderful and have been very helpful and fast at dealing with any issues that have arisen. Great place to live!

I agree with all the negative reviews. Looks like all positive reviews are posted by the management to cover up their act. The whole building is dingy & neglected. All doormen are ridiculously rude and disrespectful for no reason to the extent of harassing on a daily basis. The Maintenance staff are very respectful. You will smell & inhale marijuana all the time. Management is immune to all your complaints. The only positive point of Luna is the location which is fully eclipsed by the management and horrible reception staff.

Luna actually is an excellent place to rent an apartment in Montreal, in the downtown area. I've lived there for nearly five years and also kept my lease for the next year, and there are lots of good reasons. And no, I'm not part of management of the building and haven't got any tie-ins or connections with management, either. Among the top reasons is the location. It's directly across the street from the Faculty of Law (McGill University), and just a short walk from Mount Royal. In the other direction is a quite nice stretch of Sherbrook, with some of the city's fine hotels, museums and galleries, and shops nearby (and yes, these will rejuvenate when the pandemic fades out). Don't overlook the good number of cafes, bistros, bars and restaurants along Peel - or the shopping on Saint-Catherine St W, either. The building also is a very good value for renters. There aren't any parts of the building where amenities or services were promised but not provided. Being from a very large metropolitan area (Chicago), I especially see the strong value in a building with many amenities and a great staff, always responsive to requests - and situated in such a fine location. The building isn't quite new construction and so some updates have been done. Montreal has pretty harsh winters, and these exact a toll on bricks-and-mortar, as well as windows. So the windows got replaced and so did the balconies. Being so close to some of the best parts of the city, and having the amenities and services, and superb staff, and all for very reasonable lease rates, certainly has been worth tolerating a little disruption for major updates. I've done some of the best work in my entire career, based in my apartment in the Luna building. It's no coincidence.

I loved staying at luna. Very well maintained apartment, building and amenities. I stayed there all my time in Montreal. Management was so responsive and always ensured tenants were comfortable. Repairs were done timeously. Concierge was very friendly and always up for a little chat. Packages were given to appropriate tenants. My packages never got lost nor was given to someone else in error. I absolutely recommend them to anyone wanting to live in Montréal.

Stayed in this building for over 2 years - great building with amazing amenities and facilities. Strongest positive - location. It is literally steps away from McGill campus. However, it can be a bit on the expensive side, but if you want to live close to campus then it is ideal!

Luna is a wonderful place to live in. The building is very well maintained. It offers a lot of great amenities that I didn't use as much as I should have. One beautiful amenity that I recommend to any tenant, is the garden, it's not used as much as it should be, but it's wonderful to hang out in the summer. I stayed there last year, and the only reason I left is because I bought condo. Management is always responsive and acts on repair requests rather quickly. All the concierges are very friendly, helpful, and very organized with packages delivered. I recommend Luna to anyone looking for a stress-free rent in Montréal.
